I saw that stupid comic on DA, and then the author got band, but's IT'S STILL UP. *sobs*
I've been scrounging around for some truly awful notable fic, which could probably be considered for Legendary status. All of it is both squickful and, more importantly, well-known, so I thought some of these would be worthy of discussion as to whether or not to induct them into the - ahem - lofty aforementioned ranks. All links go to MSTs when available to keep brains intact.
So, without further ado...
Hogwarts Exposed: Harry Potter. Don't know much about it, except that it's a series, that it involves pedophilic voyeurism, and that HMS_STFU ranks it in the same class as Rose Potter and Subjugation.
Chocobo Nights: Final Fantasy VII. Tifa spends the night at a Chocobo ranch and discovers that humans and Chocobos are genetically compatible. These two facts are, unfortunately, related. TVTropes ranks it as "So Bad It's Horrible."

Obsession: Evangelion. EVA's most infamous fic, and cause of the largest-ever flamewar in this tight-knit fandom. Shinji humps a corpse and breaks his little daughter's neck. Rei's real name is Kiboo and Gendo is a pedophile.

How I Became Yours: Avatar. Legendary Badcomic? Just might be. WHY ARE MAI'S EYES EXPLODING? WHY, NURGLE, WHY? Zutara. Azula is lobotomized and the cut n' paste from screenshots is obvious.

I don't think I'm going to be able to un-read those. Curse my curiosity anyway.
But the thing about Legendary Badfics is that they need to be fairly 'legendary'. Everyone knows C*l*br**n, which is why we can moan about bad memories and drink straight bleeprin together. I'm not saying these fics aren't terrible, but going out to look for canidates doesn't seem to be... in the spirit of it all.
Also, that Sailor Moon story is on a page with the heading "This'll get me banned."
Doesn't that qualify it as... not crackfic, but the other term...? Can't remember. But it's a deliberate attempt to be horrible, and I'm not sure if the existing Legendary Badfics were the same.
...I'm being quite a downer here, aren't I? Apologies. Just my two cents.
All of these fics are famously bad, like C*l*br**n. I didn't actively go out to look for them, I knew what they were because they're famous, it was links I was looking for. I don't think I phrased it right, so, sorry if I was confusing.
And that thing about the "banned?" That wasn't the original author, he was reposting it. The original author meant it in complete seriousness.
I didn't feel compelled to read the entire thing.
And yes, you were a bit confusing, but I see what you mean now. I suppose then the question is, what constitutes "famous"? Legendary Badfics started to be listed because (most) everyone in the PPC knew them, and there's no practical way for every fanfic writer in every fandom to know all the Legendary Badfics that exist. Hmm. I'm not sure now.
These are already notable enough to have caused flamewars and to attract the attention of TVTropes. Basically, they're already famous, but since the PPC is so community-oriented, I thought I'd run them by The Board before calling Legendary on my own.
*Vomits* WHAT did they do to Chibi-Usa???? Not that I've seen that show for awhile, but still... oh gawd...Not Ami, she was my favorite... And Usagi and Mamoru??!! Chibi-Usa is her DAUGHTER!!...And, if Saturn is her best friend, than WHAT THE EFFING HECK IS SHE DOING RAPING HER???!!
