Yeah. It's just… something that bugged me with the Minis, y'know? Not entirely sure it counts.

The spellchecking has been completed, the crimes and charges tallied, and the Sue exterminated. So here it is, the first mission of Agent Fritz and Agent Silas!

http://www.fanfiction.net/u/1715091/caitkitty - The author's works, if you enjoy self-torture. I intend to hit all three of the stories in here eventually. This mission covered the "Winter" story.
I split the mission in two because LJ was whining about length. I probably could have avoided that by writing it into the HTML slot instead of rich text, but at this point I just wanted to be done with the stupid thing. Links to either part of the story have been included.
I can't stand Kirby badfic. Thank Glod this one is dead; I could swear that I could practically hear capitalization crying in a corner while attempting to read the 'fic.
Capitalization errors are by far the most egregious offenses, because they're so, so easy to get right. Proper nouns get the caps, acronyms get the caps, the starts of sentences get the caps, and that's about it! It's acceptable to use caps to add emphasis to shouting lines, but beyond that...
Ugh, I'm just glad I don't have to look at this one again. Part of me thinks I really should have taken it a bit farther; in the next chapter it was revealed that she saved Chilly at some point before that story, which we never see more detail of, and then [saccharine] everybody loves her because she's so sweet and helpful! [/saccharine] Blech. But at that point, I just couldn't take anymore of the atrocious grammar errors.
Rather than misspelling proper, though.
And hey, at least it wasn't alternating caps and non-caps, right? Written backwards, to boot. That was not fun.
Or she could have been one of those people who Capitalizes Every Word For No Damned Reason.
Yeah, capitalization is separate from spelling- hence my including it as a separate charge, despite combining the counts of charges. But I lump it into the same category of "things you can fix with a beta-reader".
Yeah. It's just… something that bugged me with the Minis, y'know? Not entirely sure it counts.
But I asked around beforehand (and did some checking) and there are prior cases of minis being created because of capitalization errors.
