What's the policy on dealing with anon fics from kinkmemes?
I ask because I've recently been seeing some truly awful fics on one of the kinkmemes I participate in, and the OOCness cannot be excused by AU/inclusion of kinks. If they were posted under a username I would have no problems with listing them as badfic and acceptable targets for the DBS, but since they're anon I'm not sure.
Assuming I'm translating the jargon properly...
I don't see that it makes a difference whether or not the author gives a username. Badfic is badfic.
That said, I have no idea what a kinkmeme is, so my understanding of the question could be entirely off.

Kinkmemes are basically communities (usually on LiveJournal) where people get together and post all their perverted story ideas for characters from the fandom. Just putting the ideas out in the open, and then if any of the ideas piques the interest of a passing writer, they have the option to jump in and whip something up.
That is absolutely terrifying. I fear for the canon.
Nova's right, though, they are pretty much porn-a-thons.
Well, the Gundam 00 one has quite a few fluff fics on there, which are kind of sweet. The only reason I don't take fluff prompts is my inability to write fluff.
Well, I'll admit my only experience with the things is the Avatar Kinkmeme, which I have been linked to twice or thrice from some of my favorite other message boards.
And I have to say. This children's show fandom is into some VERY interesting things.

In any fandom, the things people are willing to post with their names ON them make me leery of things they would post anonymously ...
... because, I suspect, no-one in that fandom has any shame.
*has no shame either but at least does not crave Pevencest*
Shame? On the Internet? What is this strange concept?
Hah. Some days I think I'm the biggest prude I've ever heard of, since I actually have the gall to be ashamed about my fetishes.
Except I will admit to squeeing insanely over furries, but I'm mostly in that for the cute factor. And I admit to being a slasher, but on the internet admitting you're a slasher is pretty much like admitting you walk upright ... well, not really, but like admitting that you do something where not everyone else does it but ninety-nine percent of people do something similar ... dammit, now we have a bad case of Metaphorgotten on our hands.
... shame is something that happens to other people :P
Unless on serious forums you go around shouting Westboro sentiments in which case it's still not the slash you should be ashamed of XP, slash is nothing more than a different kind of romance.
