Hi! My name is Mariko. I hope to become an agent here. I heard about this place at www.livejournal.com/
You should see all the things that were added. I prefer the old ways of Jay and Accacia, though.
Anyway, I'm happy to be here, and hope I'll become an agent!

I'll do Naruto and Yu Yu Hakusho, I think. Unless you're short on members somewhere else?
And are you referring to the video game or the actual tank? -

We seem to have an influx of new people as of recent. Not that I'm complaining (or have room to complain, since I'm one of them).
At any rate, welcome to the PPC. I'm NovaKrazny, likewise new and likewise eager to get started. As a gift, I present to you a pen. Stainless steel, quick-drying black ink; perfect for writing up charge lists if you prefer to use a notepad. -

Have an egg whisk! It's shiny, gold-plated, and whisks not only eggs, but spambots and author wraiths! Use it for good and not evil.

I think the PPC as a whole is more or less Lawful Evil, and many Agents could be considered "evil" for their actions (ranging from generic war crimes to destroying entire star systems)

Lawful Evil? Most of our agents are more Chaotic than Lawful. And not just those who go flamethrower-crazy. As for Evil, I'm not sure either. Most of our violent acts are the product of our agents' instability, not their moral stance.
We're just well-intented extremists, who have to leave everyday morality behind in the name of a greater good (namely, the preservation of the Plot Continuum). Utopia justifies the means. -
Well, part that, and part that it's our JOB, heh. by

Far as I can tell, there's no "let the Sue live and continue to tear Canon apart at the seams" option. We kill them because we have to. A lot of the other work, like Bad Slashing, can actually be seen as kind of beneficial. But yeah, in summary, I'm pretty much agreeing with the "we only do what we have to, unless we've gone stark raving mad" (did I mention HE'S ON FRACKING FIRE?! [/obligatory Dwarf Fortress reference]) thing.

Also, can you please stop the tropespeak? It's a little annoying. And yeah, some Agents are kind of evil, but it's mostly the "have to do evil acts such as murder for the greater good" type. It's not that the whole organisation is evil.

Welcome to the PPC! Please leave your sanity at the door...yeah, in the bucket marked "Warg Fodder." We don't tend to have much use for things like that here. I gifteth thee with a shiny bit of crystal (it probably has healing powers or something else New Age-y) and two big black buttons. Enjoy!

They're just the things we'd like every newbie to read, so we don't have to explain things over and over.
You obviously know the Original Series, so I won't bother with that, but here's the PPC Wiki and the very important article on getting Permission.
That's all, really. We'd like it if you looked around the wiki and read a few missions to get a sense of how we do things, but that's politeness, not essential. -
