Oh, how I wish I was joking. Someone really needs to hit her with some Britpicking: aside from the normal spelling mistakes (ie, mum/mom)/utter failure to work with the school system, she also has 15/16 year olds driving.

There's a charming little Narnia/Twilight crossover too. I don't know Twilight, but I do know that Vampire!Peter hurts my brain (and that I assumed the Summer girl was an OC).

And, yes, she does include those little one paragraph openings in all of her fics, I checked. The first two are "Apologue"s, apparently, so preface is at least a little better.
In New Zealand I could drive when I was 16. Admittedly, I wasn't that good, and admittedly, I was only on a Leaner's License, but I knew several people who could drive well at 15/16. So that doesn't appear to be a major problem.
The rest, though, burn her dead.
Yeah. You have to be 17 to drive, at least with a proper license. I think it still counts as a charge, being that HP is supposed to be set in England.
Still, there's plenty enough to go on already without having to bring up the car. Heh.
I think you still have to be seventeen before you can apply for a provisional licence. Might be earlier for motorbikes, I don't know, 'cause I don't drive.
Of course, one could also charge for Hermione bothering with a car. I'm pretty sure she can, y'know, Apparate. What with being a very good witch, and all that.
You have to take a test to be allowed to Apparate, and I think the age limit on it is still 17/18.
Harry couldn't take the test with Ron and Hermione in HBP, remember? Because his birthday's not until the summer, so he was only 16 when the first opportunity to take the test came round.
And re: it being a charge her driving when she can Apparate - if they're ignoring driving age limits, they're probably ignoring Apparition age limits. And even if they're not, she's still got no reason to learn to drive. (And no opportunity to either, what with being at Hogwarts all the time.)
My brother went through it last year, plus I had to watch all my friends go through it because I got diagnosed with epilepsy about a month before my birthday. XD Which is probably why it irritates me quite so much.
I'm fairly sure it's 16 for mopeds though, or really low power motorbikes.
A lot of my schoolfriends are getting their mopeds round about now (as in, when they turn 16)
Am I qualified? I've only seen the film (I am planning to read the Twilight book, though) - I'm not hugely impressed by it, but sparkly skin aside, it doesn't annoy me. The way she treates Peter, though... grrr. But this looks Twilight-film-based anyway.
I now join the ranks of those of you with a growing backlog of missions-to-write, but I want to claim it nonetheless. Any objections.
I'm afraid to even open thse links.
That's all I have to say. Someone kill this!
Dialogue like that makes my brain hurt. Few things annoy me more than questions without the '?'
Urgh, I think some people are gonna be picking up headaches from that. Also... whoo! Go Britpicking!
*sound of tinkling glass as her mind shatters*
That... it... just... why??
Apparently this writer has a thing for crossing good fandoms with fandoms that many people despise. I guess I don't know for sure how people here feel about Twilight, but my guess is that anything in which the canon characters actually sparkle is bound to be frowned upon. My morbid curiosity isn't even enough to make me try reading the series. {= P
If nobody wants the HPxEragon one, I'll put it on my kill list.

*shudder* We'll just have to trust Ilraen to keep Nume from killing Eragon, I guess.

I've not read the books, but by all accounts Edward's a creepy bastard. He BREAKS INTO BELLA'S HOUSE.
... and I quote, "I've never stalked anyone but I'm sure I would be good at it."
See why I don't want my sister reading these books?
Though maybe she was joking?
Still, I'll reserve judgement until I actually read the book.
Aye, this needs sporking. This exchange is going to give whatever Agent witnesses it a real headache.
“By the way my name is Eragon.” he told me as he took his seat.
“Hermione.” I said
“interesting name”
“I could say the same to you.”
“My parents got it from Shakespeare, how about you.”
Then there was a look in his eyes that seemed to be getting glossed over with hard thought. “I really don’t know, I never knew my parents.”
“How sad” I said trying to sound worried.
Now, either one of them says two sentences in a row, which doesn't seem to work, or a third person joins in unannounced. Trying to read it, it seems the speakers are Eragon-Hermione-Eragon-Hermione- waitaminute, Eragon comes from Shakespeare? Shakespeare doesn't exist in Alagaesia. Then after that it's Eragon speaking again.
