Besides, video hosting takes a lot of bandwidth. I'd much rather make a proper forum website than try and hack together a youtube clone.

Obviously the PPC members and OFU staff/students can't put up funny film snippets on YouTube, or it'd look pretty darned suspicious, particularly with nonhuman characters. How about the introduction into PPC canon of a site that works in a similar way, but is only accessible to those involved in the Canon Protection Initiative?
If this is a good idea, does anyone want to come up with ideas for popular clips that their agents would post?
I didn't know we could actually make one. If we wanted to do that we could just set up a channel or something on the real YouTube, it'd be simpler.
Sorry, my mistake, must've let myself get a bit too excited. In that case it'd work much more easily though, I don't see why it couldn't work. And yeah, if we wanted we could make a Youtbe channel.
I just meant it to be a fictional site accessible only via the Canon Protection Initiative dimensions, but if anyone's crazy and good enough with programming to try to set it up, I'm sure it'd be welcome.
Would be fun to write scripts for clips.

I like either idea, though for now I think we should stick to your fictional site idea. Yeah though, it'd be fun to write scripts, maybe we could eventually make the "real" site and post them, or just make a channel for it on Youtube and put the clips there.
Full speed ahead, I say! The only personal problem is that I don't know how to make videos. Whatever...
Maybe we can post footage of Truth and Dare games? x]
I have no experience whatsoever with making clips and doubt that I even have the programs, but it'd be a good collection database for us. I certainly don't object!
"As one of the course coordinators of OFUTRC, I am quite happy to give my endorsement on this project," she nodded to Laburnum, still grinning. "I happen to know that quite a few of my staff members would enjoy such a site, particularly our head chef. He could put up cooking tutorials or something like that." That said, Miss Angel disappeared into the shadows. "Fufufu..."
...and turned back to Laburnum. "Perhaps our mini-trainer could make some videos of the techniques he teaches our adorable little kiji." She smiled, the light glinting off her glasses as she cuddled one of the kiji. "And, as Angel said, some of our other staff members would be very keen on it." She followed Miss Angel, still smiling in a slightly creepy manner.
The dark screen suddenly lit up to reveal a slightly grainy close up of Yuui's mouth.
"The little red light means it's on, right, Nataku-kun?"
An affirmative reply was heard from behind the chef and the blond stepped back to smile serenely into the camera lens.
"You hold that steady, kay, Kazu-chan?"
"Right, Yuui-nii!"
"Do we have all the ingredients, Nataku-kun?"
"Yes, Yuui-san, but are you really sure-"
"I'm certain!" Yuui spun around to face his costar, inadvertently turning his back on the camera. "Miss Angel was kind enough to set up my own channel on OFUTube and Tomoyo-hime let me borrow her camera... Isn't this perfect?"
Nataku peered around Yuui and peered into the lens. "I was just wondering if Kazuki was the best choice for a camerawoman. She's barely four feet tall."
"But this is fun, Niisan!" A childish voice insisted from behind the camera.
"She was the only one I could find," Yuui explained apologetically, "Everyone seems to be scared of the kitchen today."
"Don't worry, Yuui-nii!"The camera girl chirped, "You can count on me!"
Nataku privately thought he knew exactly why everyone was avoiding them but merely sighed to himself.
"Okay, so let's start!" Yuui smiled happily into the camera, "Hello, Internet! Welcome to the first episode of Yuui's Kitchen Cooking! Today we'll be showing you how to cook my latest invention: Lamb Shank Sundae!"
At this point, Fay hit the pause button on the video with a chuckle and spun around in his chair to face his fellow viewer. "How did that taste, by the way?"
"I hate your brother and I hate his friends and I hate this stupid site!" Kurogane growled back.
Hey, we could stick the Movie there! And maybe some vids of what goes on in RCs, HQ, etc.
We could put the Movie there, I figured posting it there and on sites like Veoh, Youtube, and maybe Dailymotion would be good, but this site could be the "main" one for the movie. If we can go without Youtube's 10 minute limit we could actually have the whole movie there. Vids of HQ and the like might be tougher to do, but we can figure it out.
I'm not sure about clips, but I think we should definitely try this. I'll leave the details to someone who actually knows something about website design, but it definitely seems interesting.
I'm sure we could find space somewhere in the PPC's data center for it all...
Wonder what vids would be most popular ... I know Foxglove would post "S&S Meet Their Mommy". (http://chelonianmobile.deviantart.com/art/Meeting-Mother-87374993)
Shall we script some?
