It becomes reality somewhere in the PPC. Who hasn't said "if these walls could talk..." at some point? Saying it in the wrong place could invoke the Ironic Over-Power and the walls would start talking.
Today in my education class, we were asked to write a short story to understand the writing process that we would have to teach to the elementary students. My story actually has the potential to turn into an intermission for my agent. Unfortunately, I have hit a sort of writer's block.
My agent has found herself trapped in a room with no windows, no portals, and all doors locked. She has just started talking to herself when someone answered her. I know that there are a lot of strange things in HQ. If anyone would like to suggest something, I would gladly appreciate the help.
On another note: Any East Coast PPC Agents still interested in still doing a PPC Gathering? We could start planning now if we wanted to gather during the warmer months and hopefully make something work. Just an idea.

Even /if/ I live in sunny ol' California...I feel so...alone. *sniff* And I don't quite have the time or money to do Gatherings.
...where, exactly, in California would you be? Because depending on where you live...a Gathering could be quite possible. Even a two-person one. *grin*

'Bout an eight hour drive then. Definitely not going to be able to convince the parental units to drive me down. However...I have some relatives down there. So next time we go visit, maybe we can have a little impromptu Gathering. *grin*

Since it is, after all, HQ, the laws of reality don't necessarily apply all the time so much.
It could be HQ itself answering her, or her voice reverberating off of the concrit, which is what I thought at least some of HQ is made of, sparked some kind of reaction. Or there could be a telekinetic... being... wandering about, answering, or, as Artic said, could be a ghost.
Also, definitely, definitely up for a Gathering on the East Coast 'fore I go off to college. In fact, we don't have to wait until summer! :D But we can if y'all would prefer it. Whereabouts were you thinking-- maybe Boston? It seems like a good place for a meet-up. *crosses fingers* Anywhere in the North is easier for me, I'm right around the Hartford, CT, area, so Boston would be perfect. But other places are good, too-- I don't mind a trip up to two or three hours; past that, I might have to reconsider. Ideas, anyone?
Boston sounds like a good idea but that is a seven and a half hour drive for me. Maybe somewhere a little more south. Pennsylvania maybe.

The Ironic Over-Power, I mean. Or it could be the walls themselves, talking - after all, they've been burnt, kicked and twisted by the will of agents for so long that they are BOUND to become sentient at some point.
Actually, talking walls sounds good. We could go even further and this room could also be a place where sentient furniture resides. I will have to work on it. Thanks!

Typical of HQ, but a nightmare. Perhaps there's some little department somewhere that deals with metaphors? I don't know HOW, but it could be interesting...
Firstly, there's the Minis. Not sure which ones would be able to teleport or anything like that, but I know my mini-Agent, Arit, is capable of shapeshifting and all that, so he could easily answer back.
Next, there's the ghosts. Not sure if HQ would have many, but maybe if the room were close to the Tomb of the Forgotten Agent?
Then it could always be herself answering back. I'm guessing Quantum Physics in HQ would be very skewed, so talking to yourself could very well cause a copy of yourself to form.
And my final idea, why not the security team? They're Weeds, and as we know, weeds can get ANYWHERE. *Glares at his garden*.
Or we could go with ye old reliabile hallucinations...
