The joke's appreciated by me, though.

The joke's appreciated by me, though.
A while ago, I encountered a mildly horrifying Sweeney Todd slashfic. In this fic, Anthony rapes Todd. No, I did not switch those names around by accident. I'm sure you can see exactly why this needs to die.
My problem is, what disguises should my Bad Slashers use? My first thought was police, but if Sweeney Todd wakes up to find two policemen in his barber shop he's likely to panic and do something messy to them. Random Victorian London inhabitants? Should Skyfire disguise herself as a boy, since she's probably not worn a dress since puberty and would be unable to walk in a Victorian womans' outfit?
Well since it's Victorian era, you could always make a joke about going Steampunk before making your final decision. Just a thought.
The joke's appreciated by me, though.
Clearly it's within a Victorian-ish era, but can anyone give an approximate decade? The original novel was actually set in 1785, but the play/movie may be different.
At least, it's 1846 in this (at 3:45).
Anthony and Sweeney Todd?
I agree with the random beggar idea. After all, it's canon that Sweeney doesn't pay much attention to beggars, so as long as they don't seem like a threat to his plots ... or an annoyance ... or random people he could get away with killing ...
Well, he's OOC anyway, so your agents shouldn't be in too much danger, right?
... because Psycho!Anthony goes a little nuts with the razor as well. So they'd most likely be fine as long as they don't let him hamstring them.
(Speaking of which, is it possible to grasp someone's leg nerve and "tug" it without breaking it?)
So I guess it'd depend on how hard the nerve was tugged and what damage it had sustained in getting to it (I'm presuming it was singled out). I'm not absolutely certain, though, I'm afraid.
At least I invoked it, so it'll be my agents that have to deal with it, right?
Anthony. Rapes. Todd. *implosion*
How stupid. And to answer your question... Random Londerers sounds good; beggers tend to go particularly unnoticed even by those who can see them. And I don't see any reason why Skyfire should have to wear the womens' clothes - heaven knows most of us couldn't. ;)
Seeing Rapist!Anthony was kind of like the fanfic version of being violently savaged by a baby rabbit.
Sky can't very well go as a woman in male clothing in Victorian London and she'd be unable to move if she wore appropriate womens' clothing, so it looks like a male disguise is the best way. She would probably make an even less convincing boy than Johanna does if it wasn't for the Disguise Generator ... But then that may spoil the funny of another mission I wanted to do later, in which all four of my agents wind up getting gender-bent without their consent. (The Sue in that one drags Harry, Ron and Draco through a portal which turns them into beautiful Arabian handmaidens. Yeah.) Thoughts?
At least they have an obvious way to dispose of the corpse of Anthony's creepy replacement.
Tee-hee...
Perhaps a gender-ambiguous street urchin?
Actually, she's probably skinny enough that if she pulled a hat over her face or something it may not be immediately obvious that she didn't actually genderbend.
Savaged by a baby rabbit. Oh, Monty Python flashbacks... only this is funnier.
...Arabian handmaidens. Oookay.
