We need to have one. (Or maybe more than one, since it's a rather large country and it has horrible public transportation.) It's not fair that our friends across the ocean have all the fun. So, let's figure out where everyone is and start organizing something.
I'm in New Hampshire. -

I seem to be the sole Utahn thus far, and I'm more-or-less limited to Salt Lake City for the next many moons, so it's likely I would be unable to attend, but it seems an interesting idea.

So maybe we could do three? by

One for the northwest, one for... wherever the second concentration is, somewhere in the middle, and one for New England? New York actually sounds pretty good from here.
Maybe one for New York and one for DC, even? -
It'd have to be pretty close for me to be able to go... by

...my parents would NEVER let me out of town...hell, I don't think they'd let me go at all, even if it were in my (boring) town...protective parents and all that. To them, you're all (and I quote) "55-year-old truck drivers who would prey on a girl like you".

That's funny, last time I checked I was a jobless female.
Ah well, totally understand where you're coming from. Been there myself.
Hopefully we can work something out to everyone's satisfaction.

I like the idea of three (or more if that's feasible). I'd definitely try to go to a NW gathering, particularly if it were in Seattle, as was suggested earlier.

I've got summer classes until August 8th or so, following which I plan to head down to the NYC area until class starts again in the fall.
Also, I deny the fact that Boston exists and I refuse to travel there.
Especially with a vehicle. -

Let's check, then. Are you coming to NYC very soon? 'Cos if not, you're not my cousin. xD -

But convincing my mom, who doesn't even know I frequent forums and such, to let me go would be hell.
Still, if I can attend and there is one I'll do my very very best to go. 'm afraid I can't travel though. At least, not for several years.

*The dates are, um, are, um... arriving July 16 and leaving August 8, I think. So anything inbetween those could be attendableish. -

I'm in Philadelphia until the end of July, when I will return home to Michigan.
If anybody knows a good way to get from Philadelphia to wherever a bunch of people can meet, I'm all for it. Alternatively, people more familiar with the area could come here. There's a lot of stuff to do around here, and I've not even scratched the surface yet.
Chicago is a pretty good meeting place for anyone whose state shares a border with Lake Michigan.
