That ending was brilliant, if you don't mind the pun. But now I'm antsy 'cause I wanna know what happened...gah! So so so so evil! And the bit with the ring...not surprising, recalling that essay, but still...

This mission has been in the works since the end of 2005. The first part was posted at the beginning of 2006, but the second half has languished in an incomplete state for two and a half years...

The wiki ruins all hS's cliffhangers indeed. I once spent a homeworkless afternoon searching all the Agents I could think of on it. Thus, I found out that Dafydd was dead for a while. And thus, the only surprise in this was the how.
The very, very well-written how. And HOW! *is thwacked for the bad pun*

Of course, that probably wouldn't stop one of my Possible Agents from stealing them. Hm...

I didn't have the idea back when he acquired the thing -- at the time it was just another in a line of sparklies -- but I know the heavy foreshadowing in DragonRider was deliberate. I'm not sure how long before that... possibly around the time I wrote the Woodsprite mission, or a bit before.

That was amazing. Most brilliant job. The ending was...well, frankly quite epic. It made me scared for a moment there before I ran to check with the wiki. Very nicely done, and I congratulate you on the completion of this gargantuan enterprise.

Specifically, the first part is done (although it'll need revising). Probably... oh, a quarter of it. And I /do/ know what's going to happen. And believe me, I want to be done with it, too.

I must admit that I was never brave enough to read the original fic itself. You must have minds of adamantium. New recruits, we can always use those - and the outrrrrrrrrageous French orc was much-needed hilarity.

O'course, that was a particularly evil way of ending it. But we all kind of knew it was coming, so yeah.
