Well, what did you think this message was gonna be? :D
Basically, I'm an aspiring artist and fiction writer, and I just recently gained interest in PPC (i.e. I just started binging on it today XD). I really love a lot of your stories, as I've just recently discovered how entertaining it is to go around sporking badfic and murdering bad OCs. I used to be active on deviantART but I left for personal reasons, and I'm mostly on Tumblr now. All that said, I would like to contribute with some of my own characters, stories, and gruesome fic butchering. Now if only I can do that without stumbling over my own feet and making an ass of myself.

I already have some characters lined up for use as Agents, and I've already read the Permission article on the PPC wiki... I'm aware that I'll likely hang out for several weeks before actually setting up any permission requests for them, but may I ask if I can create their bios and writing samples (from the 36 Prompts) at this time? Don't wanna go marching into the battle without my armaments or battleplan, y'know~ XD

Oh, absolutely, with others including Aerodactyl, Braviary, Archeops, Talonflame, Hawlucha... I just love Flying-types in general, plus Tyrantrum (dinosaurs and prehistoric life are awesome!).
Just wondering, is it acceptable to refer to myself as a Skarmory (or in character with respect to my username) when I post messages (e.g. see below)? As I've stated, I'm new here, and I don't want to trip over anyone. Thanks for the response!

We're a pretty unusual group of people. Armored birds referring to themselves in the third person is just a drop in the ocean. ;) Speaking of Skarmories, mind if I capture you? It's one of the four Pokémon I need to complete my Kalos 'dex. (I promise I'll release you after I get the data!)

I'm honestly rather self-conscious about being caught (especially by someone on the other end of a board posting terminal), so I'm afraid I'll have to decline. If you do catch a Skarmory on your own console, though, you're more than welcome to christen it with my username or any derivation thereof (Silver would be quite nice personally, goes well with the game in which my species debuted).
And speaking OOC, I'm kinda glad and honestly a bit frightened at the same time at your assertion. Hopefully, though, I should be okay - and I am confident regardless that I've got the writing skills to help me survive in this community~! :) -

Anyways, I'm 99Hedgehog and I would tell you to just call me 99 but most people seem to prefer Hedgehog for whatever reason. Anyways, in a shocking turn of events, I'm not going to give you something from Warhammer 40k.
Instead, have a Leopard 1 battle tank!

Welcome! Since nobody else did that yet, I'll point you toward the important trio of Constitution, Wiki and Original Series.
That said, the PPC does not murder anybody. It assassinates Sues. It also is not very... gruesome. In fact, overly graphical violence is frowned upon.
But enough about that. Have a cup of good Earl Grey tea; just don't let the leaves eat you. -

Skarmory... tells me that you're a fellow Pokémon fan (I hope). Anything else you're really into? (If you have a Nintendo 3DS, get Fire Emblem: Awakening NOW!)
And there's really nothing more cathartic than watching a Mary Sue get what's coming to her. Or writing it, of course, but I can't confirm that personally.
I imagine hS will come along shortly to explain whatever he's changed Permission to this week, but basically they don't just let anyone write this stuff. It takes months, if not YEARS, of intensive training...
...nah, just kidding. Read stories, read the wiki, then come back and show everyone what you've got. And have fun.
(No, seriously, that candy's not poisoned. Nor have I magically infected it with mummy rot, because why would I want to scare the newbie?) -

Sweet Celestia's mane, how could I have forgotten to include My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic among my listed fandoms?! My brother and I love that series and we've been planning to catch up on the entirety of Season 4 (we missed most of it due to matters in college).
So on that note, I'd also be interested in testing out an OC I made for MLP as well in the future with the help of the PPC! There's an awful lot of badfic related to that particular franchise that hasn't been sporked yet. -

Pokemon is indeed my first love, though I sadly don't have a 3DS for budgetary reasons. Other fandoms I've joined or otherwise dabbled in include The Incredibles, Jurassic Park, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Danny Phantom, Ben 10, Godzilla, The Legend of Zelda, Kid Icarus, Rise of the Brave Tangled Dragons and all related movies thereof, and most recently The Lego Movie. And currently waiting in line to dive into Big Hero 6.
Since I just joined the group and the fandom only yesterday, I'm primarily relying on the Permission article on The Wiki as a roadmap here until I can get walked through the finer bits of PPC-related affairs. And yes, I read through the entirety of the original series as preparation. That's two precious sleep hours and a half I'd like to have back. XD
