The defense will be more careful in the future!
It doesn't have a Sue-y name yet, but it's described as 'more greener'.
The defense holds that this color is a disgustingly dark green that turns bright lime-green in direct sunlight. When used in clothing, both colors are present in the same fabric, kind of like Sue-colored velvet.
Thoughts?
(Oops, and the fic I found this in is right here. Seventh paragraph down - or third big paragraph.)
Sounds.....interesting (or revolting). I'd love to see the fabric if this would actually happen (or throw the offending piece of fabric into the fire pit)
It's one of the official colors of OFUA, so of course there will be meen and glite jerseys and sweaters available for students to purchase before the year is out.
The defense demands that the prosecution tell the court what it's talking about!
It's been my goal all along to have the defendant, 'Meen', declared a Suvian color. You just did my work for me!
Thank you kindly, Mr. Wright. I didn't even have to work for my 'Guilty' verdict.
The defense has held from the beginning that this color is Suvian! The true case at hand...
Is whether or not this color exists as a separate Suvian color from the others we already know of!
That's why I rested my case....
Because you'd already proven Meen's guilt!
I've been arguing that Meen is a new color.
You were the one arguing something entirely different! Whether or not Meen is Suvian is not the case at hand!
What we are really here to decide...
...Is whether or not it is a new color that deserves to be added to the list of known Suvian colors!
If it i a new color, and Suvian...
It should obviously be on the list.
THEN HOW DID I GET A GUILTY VERIDCT?!
If it's new...and Suvian...
How could it possibly be anything but guilty? Have you forgotten where we are, Mr. Wright?
Th-that's impossible! Then... then this was all for nothing?!
I'm sorry, Mia... I just couldn't win this time...
The defense isn't done yet, Your Honor! If what Mr. Edgeworth says is true, then we should not have gotten a guilty verdict! In fact, if what he says is true, then the prosecution has failed to do its job by disproving the idea that this color is a new Suvian color!
I-I didn't squee! S-stop lying!
Putting the 'tsun' and 'tsundere' since whenever the heck.
(She's right! If I've been trying all along to prove this is a new color...)
(...Then a guilty verdict would mean I had failed to do so!)
Your Honor! The defense demands that you reassess your verdict in this case!
Here I am, not even knowing how the hyperlink function works here, and here are two people skilled enough at bending the Board to their will to have lengthy Phoenix Wright references in the form of dueling animated images. Bravo.
I would post an applause .gif, but as implied by the title of this post, I have no clue how I would go about doing it.

Lots of help here.
this should be red this should be blue this should be purple *has new toy* It's about 3 am here and I have to work tomorrow (not until 2 pm, thank goodness), but, well... as I said, new toy!
There are many HTML codes for this Board, Khaosity, and none of them should be used lightly!
T-this is an outrage!
Mr. Wright, I am intrigued. You may continue.
Time to turn this case on its head!
Your Honor, the defense agrees that Suvian colors are all, by default, guilty. That goes without question.
However!
The point of this case was never to argue that to begin with! The only reason we're here is to determine whether or not Meen is in fact a new color!
Since the defense holds that it IS a new Suvian color...
...A 'guilty' verdict should only be handed down if the defense fails to prove as much to the court!
Ah. Well then. If the defense would restate its case, I believe we can bring this to a close.
The defense holds that the defendant, Meen, is a new Suvian color. Therefore, the defense seeks to disprove the prosecution's claim that it is not a new color and should not be added to the list.
In other words, Your Honor, a guilty verdict in this trial would mean that the court has decided Meen is NOT a new Suvian color!
All right, then. In light of this, I hereby declare the defendant
Great job in there, Phoenix! I knew you could do it!
Th-thanks, Mia...
Bonus Scene:
Except next time, I call Edgeworth.
Also I want to roleplay as him next time. :D
Based on your description, I suspect it is the waste product of some suvian abomination. That, or it is one of my cooking experiments has gone awry, again.
It's used to describe the difference between one landscape and another.
I had just mentioned my ISP's old slogan "Doesn't get any greener." (Translated from German)
I thus suggest this as meen's appearance in a reality room:
A brilliant theory, truly.

BUT.

The record clearly shows that it is NOT the seventh paragraph down! It's the eighth!

Explain yourself!
No waaaaaaaaaay!
Uhm, uh, well that's just a minor detail...
This "minor detail" has great bearing on the reader's ability to understand what you're saying!
You can't possibly call that minor!
Uhm, that's not exactly what I meant...
The defense will be more careful in the future!
The defense may proceed.
There is no need, Your Honor, the defense has no case!
Your Honor, there is no need. The defense has no case.
The defense still holds that this new color - 'more greener' - is found within the chapter provided and is a disgustingly dark green until it comes into contact with direct sunlight, at which point it turns bright lime-green!
These facts...
...remain indisputable!
However!
If you've mixed up such a minor detail so badly, why should we believe you haven't made more mistakes in your case?!
You yourself have not been flawless with your case!
Just now, you claimed to have had a broken link in one of your posts. However...
The defense could not spot any such links anywhere in the post you were referring to!
How can this court be so certain you are to be trusted when you overlook something so blatantly obvious?!
T-that's irrelevant! It has no bearing on this case!
And my point stands, Wright!
If you want to go that route...
Then can you really say the defense's poor choice of words has any bearing on this case?!
The fact that I accidentally included a broken link in no way misled the members of this court as to the nature of the case.
Yours, on the other hand, obviously did!
I didn't say it was your inclusion of a broken link! I was referring to the fact...
...that the link in question is not broken at all!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cdIlP488n14
The fact remains that you cited entirely the wrong paragraph! There's no way to talk your way out of this - I've got you cornered!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cdIlP488n14
That may be true, however...
How is this still a point of contention if this matter of which paragraph this color shows up in has already been cleared up?
I see you've managed to miss the point entirely.
This was never a question of whether you'd cleared up the matter - it was a question of your reliability! If you can't even get the paragraph right, what else have you gotten wrong?!
If you're willing to try and hide the fact that the image you presented was simply not the one you wanted to use by calling it a broken link...
...What else are you hiding from the court?!
Your Honor, I request the defense refrain from ad hominem attacks.
((You know I can't think straight when I'm staring at a smiling Edgeworth.))
The defense was only following the prosecution's own tactic by bringing up something already said in this trial and using it against the prosecution!
In other words...
Ad hominem either never came into play in my argument, or the prosecution is equally guilty of it!
Y-you upstart....amateur...
Grr...M-my point still stands! I demand the defense give proof that it remains reliable!
I will have an answer to this!
(Oh man, he's got the Judge under his thumb here! I'm really in trouble now!)
What's the matter, Wright? You don't know the answer?
Or could it be that...
http://s1161.beta.photobucket.com/user/YankeeFlyBoy/media/Reaction%20Folder/Edgeworth/Animation006zpsdbadc439.gif.html?sort=3&o=30
There isn't an answer? You're blowing smoke, Wright!
The defense has all the evidence it needs that it remains reliable, and it's right here!
It's right here, in this post by a third party!
This post is undeniable proof that not only does this new Suvian color exist...
...BUT THAT IT ALSO POSSESSES THE ABILITY TO BECOME LIME-GREEN UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS!
You've played right into my trap, Wright!
Your Honor, the Prosecution rests.
Well then, given the evidence, I must declare the defendant, 'Meen'...
This can't be the end...
...Don't give up yet, Phoenix...
i.e., what is the HTML code for embedding pics on the Board?
Minus the spaces and quotation marks, of course.
Well, now I'm a little embarrassed for not reading all the way to the bottom of the chain before replying.
Here is the applause .gif that I talked about earlier, members of the .gif courtroom.
You deserve it.
