I applaud you, good sir. I've snarked both those fics at one point (Subject 23 was a PPC mission and Parallel Realities was my first snarking with the Library of the Damned), and I know how both these fics were.
For me, though, I'd have to say that Subject 23 would probably win the fight. Actually, I'd say that I want Subject 23 to win, really. Thing is, Subject 23 is a psychopath and he's whiny and the things he does to Miranda's character are completely horrible, but at least he doesn't take over the whole galaxy at the end the way Stupard does.
And I think Subject 23 probably would win anyway, so there's that. He's basically just an X-Men character transplanted into the Mass Effect universe, so that gives him an edge against Stupard. On top of that, Subject 23's abilities allow him to keep some distance with Stupard, so that would probably help a lot as well.
I've realised that Subject 23 is nothing more than a genderbent, disgustingly stupid version of X-23 (aka Talon, Laura X, et cetera). I mean, if you're going to plagiarise something, at least pick a different number.
Subject 23's Powers are basically a combination of the powers of Iceman and Wash-out, so I doubt it was meant to invoke X-23. Couple that with the fact that the fic as a whole ends up becoming disgustingly sexist at various points (it turns Tali into a love-obsessed bimbo and then turns FemShep into a horny lady who obsesses about how she hasn't gotten laid despite the fact that, you know, she's busy fighting the Collectors and all that), and I very much doubt he's going for an X-23 rip-off.
No matter what, though, I can say this: Parallel Realities is still far worse than Subject 23. Subject 23 at least had the dignity to attempt something new, even if it did a terrible job. Parallel Realities was just a lazily written pile of laziness.
And of course the lazier fic is impossible to PPC because it's too damn long.
