Can anyone recommend to me any particular Doctor Who expanded universe? I'm just sort of curious about it.

Do you mean a spin-off? Torchwood is one, though it is8s a bit more mature than Doctor Who. There's also the Sarah Jane Adventures. And K9 and Friends, though that one isn't sponsored by the BBC.

You know, like radio plays, books, comics, stuff like that.
To answer the question: No idea, sorry. I love Doctor Who (well, new Who at least...), but I have not looked into the expanded universe at all. -

The torchwood spinoff might be a good place to start. Basicly it's them saving the world when the good doctor is off doing his timey-wimey thing.
