Do you mean a spin-off? Torchwood is one, though it is8s a bit more mature than Doctor Who. There's also the Sarah Jane Adventures. And K9 and Friends, though that one isn't sponsored by the BBC.

To answer the question: No idea, sorry. I love Doctor Who (well, new Who at least...), but I have not looked into the expanded universe at all. -

The torchwood spinoff might be a good place to start. Basicly it's them saving the world when the good doctor is off doing his timey-wimey thing.
