Ah, here we are, as a welcome gift I'd like to present you with a baby oliphant and a giant wheel of cheese stolen from the "mature" storage side of the Cheez-It factory. :)
Hi! I'm very excited about joining the PPC (I'm sure they could do without me, but they'll have to put up with me anyway, :P) Can't wait to start writing!

LotR and HP, huh? Nice to meet you, sharer of my fandoms (yup, I'm one of those LotR fans Hermione mentioned. I'm also a member of the 'joined in the last 2 months' club. Glad you decided to join us!). Sorry for the potentially late welcome--I was away from the internet for the holidays. Have a large bar of Swiss Bleepolate--it distracts you with sugary goodness while working to erase whatever horrific details you've just been exposed to. Also, the pin from a LotR Sue's fake Lorien cloak (it looks and acts just like the real ones--except that it's much more sparkly, so it doesn't exactly camouflage well). Wear it/use it to distract people in good health!

Mostly Lord of the Rings. Harry Potter, maybe-although I have little experience with Potter Sues.
The Original Series is mostly LOTR, and it's pretty much required reading, so most of us are at least somewhat familiar with Tolkienverse. Any other fandoms? We're a big enough community that you will probably find someone who shares them.
