The whole thing sounds quite cool!
You've got an interesting setup here! I'll make the most of it.
Thanks for your interest!
If you want to make use of them again.
Seems like you've got a lot more on the Loyalist side at the moment, so I'll put Skeet and Amy forward for the Efficients this time around. Skeet would be just over 50, and Amy would be about 40.
I leave their fate in your capable hands. However, if anything were to happen to Amy, Skeet would seek retribution.
Strange to think that their DTOM selves were Loyalist to the point of being the ones to deliver the message to Gaspard in the first place. I wonder what made them go Efficient this time 'round...?
Thanks a lot for your interest. I'll make sure to include a mention of these two!
If you remember this piece (which I've just had to rehost on GDocs - looks like I just posted it direct on the Board before, and it's fallen off the end of the archives), there's a bunch of Skeets and Amys that are determined to try different things to avoid the Trouserverse version of the Sundering. Picking the other side would certainly shake things up a lot.
If you don't like that though I've got no problem with you coming up with a different reason.
I love your agents-- I'm very glad I have the permission to have them appear as cameos.
Thanks again for your interest!
Thanks for letting me mention your agents.
Your interest is much appreciated!
Nice to see ESAS again! I like those guys.
Thanks for your interest!
I did just realise it's been 5 years since I've posted a mission. I should really fix that.
Curse this whole 'life' business. Keeps on getting in the way something fierce.

Curious what you mean, there. How do you plan for this to be the canon future for your people but not necessarily for everyone else's? Especially since you have rather a lot of characters.
I have to think on the cameos, so can I email you with a list at some point instead of making a gigantic post? :P
The way I see it, everyone writes their own timeline of the PPC and simply decide to integrate certain parts of others' work (as in acknowledging the existence of some agents and HQ events that appear in other spinoffs) into their own. My agents' path leads to another civil war but that won't stop, say, Example McExample to write about a Sundering-less PPC set in 2040. Their spinoff, their timeline, their rules.
And I do believe you have my email, right? Feel free to send me your list! DIA will play a major role in the Sundering after all-- and you're the resident expert.
I'm not sure I hold much to the "every spinoff is a mostly mutually exclusive timeline of its own" idea, but then, I like united canons and continuity and such. I've got some stuff going but I'll see about firing you something soonish.
They merge, mingle, and maybe split as their authors interact with other PPC writers.
I don't want people to feel obliged to write a Sundering story if they want to write about the PPC post-2038-- hence the fact that this is a splinter timeline.
That spinoffs "happen in the same 'verse and timeline unless otherwise noted" - basically, as long as it's not a divergent timeline or an out-of-continuity spinoff (or something marked as UnCanon), it happens in the same place and timeline as everything else.
I really like Doc, though-- I really, really do. I'll see if I can have someone restore that moral compass of his...
Thanks for your interest!
Most of these cameos are just that-- cameos. Since this is a huge event that involves everyone in HQ I want to show as much of the agents as possible.
Thanks for your interest!
The whole thing sounds quite cool!
Yes, this will work nicely. I'm very interested in how I might use Henry-as-a-double-agent in one of the chapters I'm planning...
Also, poor Nume. I'll make sure to follow up on the fate you decided. Muahaha.
Thanks for your interest!
Thank you very much for your interest! I'll work them in.
...the only agent of mine who would definitely still be around by 2038 would be Cupid, for obvious reasons. Rashida would probably retire and return to her home continuum after a few years, and I'm not sure what'll become of all the others but I doubt they'd be around for that long. As for my other agents... I don't know, but I'd rather not risk it. So yeah, just Cupid. For now, anyway.
As for where he'd end up, I can see him being part of the Loyalist faction, since they were the ones who gave him a home and a reason to exist in the first place. Being an angel and the like, he'd still be 13 biologically but he'd be a lot more experienced mentally. There WAS a 25-year gap between the original Kid Icarus game and Uprising, after all. XD
What about his final fate in this timeline? Did he survive or die on the battlefield?
A lot of his times in combat involved him downing something alcoholic and just stumbling about and doing random stuff, all the while somehow not getting hurt. And he's surprisingly badass once the booze removes his inhibition, too.
That and, well, everybody needs a drunken angel in a pink toga in their lives. I know I do. XD
...what about Chakkik's fate? Dead? Alive? Missing? It's your call.
I'm assuming Gabby is out of the picture, right?
If you'd like to know my Plans for Valon and Kala, just let me know.

If you need a beta or anything, just send me a message. I'll probably have to time to look it over and give feedback.
Chakkik's alive and kicking, and unchanged.
Gabby got transferred to the ESAS. Chak's new partner is going to be a hacked Hawlucha with Huge Power.
Just as soon as I smooth out the rough edges with him, anyway. Just know that Gravedigger is not a comedy Mexican, despite being a luchabird.
Is this an AU splitting off from the original Sundering (the one you linked to), or were those just for general feel?
If it's the former, I have agents canonically in there you can borrow - and abuse as much as you like, if it's all going AU anyway.
(But since there's a fair few of them, I won't pull together a list unless it's relevant. So?)

So the Paladins go back in time to warn HQ in the Door to the Future and consequently the Board of Department Heads blocks the rise of the original Efficient. Unfortunately this causes an even uglier monster to rear its head. To prevent the bloodbath, two agents travel back in time again to alter the events of Door to the Future as to let the original Sundering take its course-- but this time the Loyalists have a heads-up.
You can see it as an extension of the original Sundering.
Exactly what I was looking for.
Thank you for your interest! This means a lot to me-- considering you're the original writer of the Sundering and all.
Yes, this will do nicely. This is giving me ideas...
Thank you for your interest!
And yeah, the Nursery gets hit hard in the opening stages of the Triple Prime. Lots of good people gone.
I'll be sure to leave McCandless' fate ambiguous.
I'm just rendering it redacted here because it constitutes major spoilers for certain arcs I have planned. =]
I'll make sure your characters get mentioned at some point or the other.
Thank you for your interest!
