Presenting to you a story in the style of Continuity: Gallifrey Bickers, in which the Continuity Council of Gallifrey-in-Exile has another meeting and things get a little crazy: Continuity: Gallifrey Shrinks.
Thanks again to our many, many betas (Scapegrace, Lily Winterwood, Huinesoron, and Desdendelle). Continuity: Gallifrey Shrinks would be less without your suggestions, ideas, and occasional provision of dialogue (especially from Scapegrace on the last one).
We hope you’ll enjoy this as much as we enjoyed writing it.
~DF & Iximaz
A note: we’ll be updating the wiki, of course, and also our own agent pages. Lily, I (DawnFire) am also willing to update Dis and the Agent’s as well, if you want me to. The rest of you are on your own, though.
Love it! ^_^
P.S. Yes, not dead, still around lurking. Not as much as I'd like due to many demands on my time (a World One TARDIS would be a wonderful thing), but I will pop my head in whenever possible. Might even get the time to write properly!
P.P.S. And I will update Fish's wiki page with a link to the story!
*flying glomp tacklehug*
I was asking around to see if anyone could get in contact with you while this was being written and it was a bust. So glad you liked it!
And, ah, I linked the Fisherman's page to the Continuity Council page, which you might have already seen. Sorry for taking the liberty, but I thought you'd vanished.

I hadn't but thanks for doing it - even if I was around at the time, I wouldn't have minded at all!
I should add my email address to my wiki user page so that I'm more easily contactable.
I'll always respond if prodded about things, I just don't read the Board frequently enough to keep up properly at the moment... sorry! ^^'
No problem, since I like editing the Wiki; I'm just glad to hear you don't mind.
And yes, that would make things much easier. It seemed like nobody knew how to contact you, so it was a bit sad we didn't get your input on the ConCoun thing while it was being written.
I loved Continuity Council before, and the addition of Rina makes everything 10 times as awesome. ^_^
Actually, I've been listening to the Gallifrey audio series recently, and it's quite a bit like this. Albeit with a lot less arguing over fanfiction and not as many age regressions (although there was that one time...). It might be interesting to get some political subplot in there next time. And possibly a savage bodyguard or two. I dunno. Just an idea.
Can't wait for the next Council meeting!

One thing the Betaing Council seems to have missed - this:
[Kozar lets go of the Librarian and walks towards the Reader, who has been watching them and sobbing. When she sees the Klingon walking towards her, she abandons her corner and ammunition and runs to him, still sobbing.]
...
Morgan: What do you expect me to do? I’m busy. And there’s a Klingon holding him by the shoulder, since you seem to have missed that.
Not any more there's not.
Yeah, I love this story. I can't help it; the Council cracks me up every time.

...and all due respect to the Betaing Council--that one's intentional. The idea was that we jump back (in time) a tiny bit--the Fisherman would have had to be walking extremely slowly to have only reached Morgan after Kozar had spoken to Rina and the Librarian *and* gone on to be hugged by the Reader, and while he did start out trudging, he seems to have started running at some point. Guess it's not quite as obvious that it's not consecutive as I thought. Maybe it could be changed to the following?
Fisherman: [has run over to Morgan, tripping over his too-large shoes] Morgan, make him stop! He’s being mean!
(Morgan is definitely one of my favorites in this, actually. So teenager-y. Admittedly, it's pretty hard to choose a consistent favorite, but she has some of the very best lines.)
Also funnily enough, I've been catching other tiny things on my read-through this morning. Some of it's just stylistic or a missing comma, but there's also one instance of a line being changed and the reply not following suit. Luckily, it's just a matter of removing one word. Fixes to follow.
I'm glad you enjoyed it, though :) We did rather try to emulate the style of Gallifrey Bickers; it does seem to have turned out shorter, but hopefully otherwise it's a good spiritual sequel.

... just make it explicit:
[A little earlier]
Fish:...
There's no reason not to do that, after all.
Do you mind if I add a link to Gallifrey Shrinks to my Continuity Council list? Since their canon is still fairly small, I'd love to keep it all together like that.

Sure? I assume you don't mean the wiki page, since we've already updated that.

And yeah, go right ahead! :D
This is the most adorably ridiculous thing I've ever seen in the PPC. Nicely done!
