Subject: Favorite PPC Pairings?

Somewhat inspired by the thread below, what PPC characters do you ship? What makes you think they work well together? Are they canon pairings, or is there no evidence outside of your head?

My choices:

  • Jay/Acacia - Okay, so technically this is less based in canon, and has more to do with this goodfic entry in the Badfic Games. But the way it was written made me love it in canon, too.
  • Trojie/Pads - A classic pairing. I love their dynamic and the (NSFW!) fic where they finally get together is probably my favorite slash fic that I've read.
  • Valon/Kala - I'm fairly proud of myself on this one, because I was shipping them before it was canon. (/hipster) I feel like they've always had a lot of chemistry, and it's really cute to see Valon become an ascended fanboy of sorts. I'm looking forward to seeing where they take it from here!
  • Iximaz/Thanasius - Not a PPC pairing so much as a Plort pairing. But once again, I was shipping it before it was canon. I actually came very close to mentioning it after reading this fic, but I didn't want to say anything, since it's on the border between shipping characters and shipping writers. It's nice to see I was right.
  • Jenni/Supernumary - This is probably the one I feel the most guilty about. I know that Nume isn't interested in a relationship with anyone, and I really shouldn't be shipping him at all, but he's so tsundere with Jenni that I can't resist.
  • Ilraen/Zeb - Easily the crackiest pairing on the list, since they've never interacted in any way. The only "evidence" I have is that Zeb likes the Animorphs. But they're both sweet-natured, innocent nonhumans, and I picture them being very cute together. The fact that they both have explicitly bishonen human forms doesn't hurt, either. But seeing as Iximaz and Neshomeh are working on a co-write, maybe it will end up being more canon that it seems?

As a side note, please don't take this the wrong way if I didn't mention a couple. It doesn't mean they're poorly written; as you can probably tell, I have kind of weird taste.
