A quick question, as I am both unable and too lazy to find it: if I found a badfic written in me native language, am I allowed to use it as a mission target? Homemade translation would include all the mistakes, of course.
Trojanhorse and Paddlebrains, who sadly are not longer around, sporked a bad slash mpreg real person fic written in French (Mission 20, "Baby bump, hormones & tennis"), and they aren’t even French.
HG
But I doubt the SPaG errors would get translated very well. That being said, I think it might not be much of a problem for most fics. I've also thought about writing missions in French, but almost no one here would be able to read them. I could translate existing missions into French, though... I guess.
But if the Suethor creates mini-Sues and mini-Aragogs of the Hogwarts' founders names? Well, I think this can be translated quite easily.
It'd be interesting to see how bad writing in, say, French or German translates to English. :)
And, trust me, it's equally bad. We're talking "Sue-from-Durmstrang-who-disarms-12-Death-Eaters-without-a-wand" bad.
The disarming spell is not a silent one! *rants about the stupidity of it all* By the way, what's the weather like in Poland, Chipher?
Now I can finally make that joke! *ekhm*
I shal call him... Mini-Me!
As for the weather, it's pretty good for a few days now. Just yesterday it was cloudless with 22 C, or 71.6 F - we can say, the Spring has arrived :D
Badfic is badfic, right? Go for it, man.
