What with all the interludes and missions being posted lately, I thought I'd jump on the bandwagon. This is a short interlude which takes a popular fanfic trope and applies it to the PPC. To that end, if anyone would like to expand upon the idea, or have an rp based on it (Karen thinks it'd work well as one), you're quite welcome to.

Yup. I wrote a PPC coffeeshop AU (I suspect it's the first, though I'd be happy to be proved wrong). It's not quite coffee, nor is it heavy on the romance aspect, but I like the result. I hope you do too!

I'm just going to skip to the joke, alright? I mean, a coffee shop AU. That's silly enough as is, right?

Well, here is my train of thought while reading this:

A Coffie Shop AU? What on earth does that mean? I'm going to have Jumper look into this. If I ever write him, that is...

So, Doctor Who... Mission? Coffee break? This should be interesting.

Carrot juice? Well, I suppose some coffee shops would sell that. Their main demographic is hipsters, anyway. Coffee in a coffee shop is too mainstream, man! Though, I always thought Rose as more of a mocha person, myself. Maybe she just had a craving, that only carrots could satisfy.

Wait a minute, a carrot juice shop? I've been lied to! You will pay for this, Dawn!

Rose's... Ears started twitching? That's... ~~Ood~~ Odd, for a human.

Ah, there are our agents! And, it seems like we're lusting already. Well, I don't know what else you would do in a ~~coffee~~ carrot juice AU. I mean, how would you assassinate sues? Spill hot ~~coffee~~ carrot juice on them?

Rose was... Leaping out the door? Ears bouncing? Complements on her tail? What on earth...

OH! I get it! It's some weird pony AU! ((Not kidding, that was my actual thoughts. I am that hopeless, people.))

Oh, new agent team. Hmm, this seems rather normal. Oh, nope, there's the ear thing. Strange pony AU, this is. Ponies can drink coffee, though. I am fairly sure that's canon... ((somebody help me))

Oh my god, I'm an idiot.

I truly am sorry for your loss, though. I know how special a pet can be. This was a lovely, silly tribute. Well done.

And then it said Rose pushed a bowl of carrot juice with her nose and I just went "Waaaait..."

(I can't think of any instance of ponies drinking coffee, but considering they eat s'mores, among other weird things, I don't see why they can't have coffee.)

*hugs DF* I've lost a dog and three rats (and a bunny that we rescued from a cat but it died ten minutes later) and currently have two guinea pigs, and I'm going to miss them so, so much when they die. *huggles some more*

I think I was misremembering Doughnut Joe's scene. Spike was drinking hot chocolate, but I remembered coffee. Or, perhaps I'm just remembering that one fic where Twilight does nuts trying to get a freaking cup of coffee, and thinking it was canon. That might be it too.

Oh, side note, do you want to pop in on that last doc we were working on? Thought I might touch some things up.
