Ginger laughs. "And *I'm* the Hermione replacement? 'Sides, I'm old enough for a witch!"
"You are?" Alloy asks. She looks around. "Oh, my. We seem to be in a bar."
"Nice observation," Ginger says dryly. "Oh, hey! That girl over with all those people might have strawberries for hair, but she's pretty cute!"
"Ginger!" Alloy blushes -- she is, after all, from an anime continuumn -- and lightly smacks Ginger's shoulder. "Do not be rude!"
"It's not like I'm going up to her and saying 'Hi, I think you're cute!' She's already surrounded by people, anyway."
"That is no reason to be rude, Ginger."
Ginger shrugs. "Fine. Be all proper if you want. I'm gonna go introduce myself." She walks up to Rina's table and eyes the crowd. "Seems like half the bar is here." Eventually, she finds an opening. "Hey!" she shouts over the noise of the bar. "My name's Ginger! Who're you?"
Alloy starts towards the table herself, fearing what sort of trouble her more social partner might get into.

The Department of Fictional Psychology staff have a little whip-around to assemble the following gift basket:
- A selection of the finest teas, because tea is a cure-all, it's canon.
- A bottle of reannual wine. (Make sure to drink after you experience the hangover to avoid a paradox.)
- A large mason jar of Generic Fantasy Ale.
- A PADD full of soothing music from across the Federation.
- An assortment of the finest French chocolates.
- An industrial-sized jar of Bleeprin. (For Zeb.)
- One bottle each of Pink Stuff and Purple Stuff. (For Rina; use wisely, you don't want to know how they got the Purple Stuff.)
- Several pieces of fruit. Because there are always several pieces of fruit. May or may not be wax.
It is delivered to RC 3-Apple-14 by a very large green orc and a Wrath Cadet. The latter apologizes for any teeth marks that may have been left in the orange by the former.

Zeb woke, sniffing curiously. "Do I smell Bleep-stuffs?" he asked hopefully, raising his head to look at Rina, who was in the bathroom and apparently making faces at her new reflection.
"Yeah, the entirety of FicPsych sent a gift basket, can you believe it?" she replied, quickly pulling her tongue back behind her teeth and pointing at the coffee table.
Zeb looked and would have raised his eyebrows if he'd been a human. "Wow, that's... that was very nice of them," he said softly.
"Isn't it, though?" Rina said, smiling. "I wonder if Nurse Jenni had anything to do with this. Nice lady. Wish they hadn't gone overboard with the alcohol, though. I don't like the stuff and apparently can't get drunk anyway now unless I try really, really hard."
Zeb gave a half-shrug. "Well, there's certainly quite a lot of it, from what I can smell," he said, spearing something that looked like a Pecha Berry with a foreclaw and sniffing it. It smelled very similar to Pecha Berries, so he popped it in his mouth. "Oh, that is good."
"Try the oranges, they're also fantastic," Rina advised. "And remind me to send a thank-you note later. This is just... wow, you know?"
"Bit overwhelming, yeah," Zeb agreed, gnawing on the pit in the center of the Pecha lookalike. "Mm, this is really good."
Rina laughed and came over to sit next to him, grabbing the giant jar of ale from the basket and opening it. "Let's see how much of a lightweight new me is, shall we?" -

The Pink Stuff is mostly Potterverse Euphoria Elixir with a little bit of Romulan Ale mixed in. This is apparently enough to make it extremely potent to humans, so it ought to work even on Gallifreyan physiology, IMO. And, as long as she makes sure to take some Purple Stuff afterwards, she won't even have to suffer the awful hangover. They were being very generous for the sake of the young heroine who can't use Bleepstuff. {= )

Are there enough Time-Lords at Rudi’s to justify some wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey stuff dragging Androia in from the future? She is a druid and may like to talk about nudistic druids and protecting forests. But I’m at the office and have work to do.

It might be worth looking into, counterspells for that kind of thing.
