People love to cling onto these exceptional stories with big titles such as "we're breaking physics!" or "we have to rethink everything!"

Truth is that the standard model has never been disproven once so far. Not. Even. Once. Isn't it terribly convenient to throw out the tried-and-true model once something slightly strange is observed? We need to perform more rigorous tests on this and not give in to hype. Remember when CERN thought it had found particles moving faster than light with a certainty of five or six sigma? It was due to a calibration error-- and so is this thing.
