was one of the worst I've seen. I'm impressed you actually managed to read enough to spork it!
I also like the agents getting some relaxing time at the end. The console will be beeping like mad when they get back, though!

I can definitely see where you’re coming from and if I actually looked like my name suggests you’d be right.
Unfortunately, I definitely don’t! You got my hair and eye colour wrong. My hair isn’t as long as you said it was, either, and while my skin is pale it’s not *that* pale. I don’t have a pair of black jeans, although they’re not too far outside my style.
No guesses for the others because I don’t know what any of you look like IRL so I can’t have any hope of being accurate.

I started looking at this today, but I ran out of time. I will say you've still got some SPaG issues, so maybe have another look at it? I'll be on a train most of tomorrow, but if there's decent WiFi I'll try to have another look and give a proper response.

Have a several months out-of-date selfie with my sunglasses.
And as it so happens, I do actually have a pair of fingerless gloves that I use when I'm stuck in the wheelchair, but they don't get much use, thankfully. No pastel shirts for me, though; the lightest color shirt I own is a dark grey. The vast majority of them are black. :P
Also, your necklace is amazing and I want it. Where'd you get it?

Well, apparently I resemble my personality. Wouldn't be the first time a PPCer told me I look or sound like they expected me to. It's even funnier because I actually am wearing a striped sweater this very day. I also own a Time Turner necklace, so even the Deathly Hallows guess is in the right ballpark. Here's proof in poorly lit bathroom selfie form.
My default necklace is a dragon perched on a green glass stone, though. {= )
For the rest, Kaitlyn's not too wrong except for the hair, I think, and Ix sounds pretty good except for the accessories (though I may be wrong!). I can tell you that the guesses for hS and doc are way off. ^_^

With Delta as a close second.
The idea of hS with a soul patch will never leave my mind now, though. XD
I do have some very nice sunglasses that I carry around in my pocket that I can whip out if things get too bright, but my default is actually dark wash jeans and black graphic tees. :P

Boarders According to Willis (Humor + Game-ish) by

Apologies for posting two posts in such quick succession, but anyway, here we go.
Cue music: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G2GZzhWEdaw
So, how this happened is the following: Thanksgiving Break happened to fall between the time I let Willis know I wanted to recruit him and the time he actually joined. His family went on a camping trip during that time, and so he (being unable to fall asleep in vehicles) texted me on the first Friday evening that he was tired and bored and wanted something to do. I had the genius idea of this activity to help him feel a bit less scared of posting to the "big scary Board": I'd describe to him what various other Boarders were like and he'd attempt to guess what they looked like. Sort of like the inverse of those reaction videos on YouTube where the kid shows their relative the characters from their favorite fandom and the relative has to describe their personalities.
Because of Willis being tired and because of the inherent lack of correlation between appearance and personality in the real world, the results were humorous. Here they are, in picture format:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ACiiQLSz8m5N6xFzD4SIwTC7GzWisuo9/view
-----
For those who can't see the image or were wondering what the original descriptions were, here they are:
Huinesoron: "Blazer and a thin mustache and soul patch. Fairly short styled back brown hair and blue dress pants with a plain colored shirt under the blazer."
Neshomeh: "She has glasses, hair loose in the front but In a bun in the back, stripe sweater, and a deathly Hallows necklace"
Thoth: "a little pudgy, with nerdy t shirts, medium length hair, wears jeans and old sneakers. trying and failing to grow a beard"
Delta Juliette: "pasty, skinny, long hair in a braid, stripe shirts, jeans, several bracelets"
Snowblaze: "pale skin and hair, green eyes, black jeans, longish hair"
Kaitlyn: "wears sweater with designs, glasses, blonde shoulder length hair, skirt"
Four Moons Watching: "shirt with sans on it, ripped jeans, medium length hair held back by a rainbow on it, and colorful shoes"
Iximaz: "faded jeans, pastel colored shirts, fingerless gloves, sports sunglasses"
Doctorlit: "wears dress shirt, loose6 tie, gray dress pants, short combed back hair, clean shaven"
And finally ("This is where I got lazy." -Willis):
Snowy: *He sent me a picture of the time our crazy IRL friend, who may or may not be joining soon, put makeup on him. I've given up on trying to extract any meaning from that.*
Cringe-Factoryy: *He sent me a picture of me. That can only mean one thing: I was projecting a bit in my description. Whoops.* "you but shorter and less beautiful"
61516: "like me but better dressed and with better posture"
-----
Now it's your turn!
- Who do you think Willis guessed most accurately? Who was his least accurate guess? (My personal votes are Thoth or Ix and Moon Moon, respectively.)
- To those depicted, how did you react to these guesses?
- Finally, based on what you know about him so far, what would you guess Willis looks like? If you missed the two times I described myself, what would you guess I look like? (Don't cheat by finding those descriptions!)
Reply to this post with your votes, reactions, and guesses (preferably in picture format - use an avatar maker if you can't draw). Have fun!

Tangential Notion: by

So an idea popped into my head, and after I managed to coax the villagers into putting down the torches and pitchforks (the unsuspecting fools), it occurred to me that it might be worth sharing.
Having Christmas music on while my family did all the work cleaning up around the place for the holidays, and drifting through the usual carolling of tintinnabulations multifarious, resting of ye merry gentlepersons, and all that jazz, the Song of Durin started playing, and it. . . wasn't too far out of place.
Not the lyrics, per se, though there's a certain gloominess that befits winter for some folks, but the sound of the (admittedly not Dwarven) Clamavi de Profundus really was right up there with the choirs for songs like "Hark the Herald Angels Sing," "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen," and a few others that probably work better and my brain is deliberately holding out of reach.
The PPC is definitely the sort of place to pick up Dwarven-styled carols, and, if you have a listen here, I think you'll agree it's definitely a category that at the very least has more than a smidge of potential.
(Per the intent of the thread, though, I really do need to get to work on some Gallifreyan Christmas carols and tons of other parody-things)

Theo is a Mandalorian Bounty Hunter from Star Wars: The Old Republic with a perchance for setting things on fire.
Cinnabar is a RWBY Huntress leader of an original team I made up (COPR pronounced Copper), with a love of setting things on fire.
Did I mention they'll be DoGA agents? (once I find a mission for them)

... but if things like Universal Love and Tons of Art are the Emperor's cunning plan to defeat Chaos, then he failed miserably, because what he ended up with was a death-worshipping empire of feudal bureaucracy. So if his plan is running as intended, it has to reflect that.
Now, granted, he COULD have failed.
But Phobos said he is omniscient,
And Phobos is an honourable man.

Adapting the omophagea to work with Kroot genetic absorption is an awesome prospect, in both the great and terrible senses of the word. Giving them a testbed for future adaptations and refinements of the Legions' geneseed as well as an edge in ongoing campaigns. One feels that the Apothecaries of the Legions fulfil a role analogous to the Shapers, only with a less instinctive knowledge of what to eat and what to avoid.
... Though then again, is that really going to be an issue, considering some of the other geneseed organs in the Astarteslunchboxtoolbox. The Preomnor organ is an incredibly potent bio-organ, allowing a Marine to break down just about anything short of Tyranid bio-acid into nutrients without damage to the Marine chowing down. If something does turn out to be too much for an Astartes to handle, there's the Oolitic Kidney to get rid of it.
On a related note, the Black Carapace? The Tau are looking at that, then looking at the XV-02 experimental pilot suits, then back to the Black Carapace. Then they're rubbing their hands and getting the really experimental scientists. ICYMI, the XV-02s are teeny tiny battlesuits that really only constitute personal armour. However, they allow the wearer to form a neural interface with Tau machinery (in the most prominent case, a Devilfish grav-tank). This is literally what the Black Carapace does, and if you can improve the bond between a Marine and the machine spirit of his thumping great suit of power armour, then you get an even better Marine.
And all this is going to be done quietly and efficiently with medical drones who aren't pausing every thirty seconds to chant something weird in High Gothic or hurl incense everywhere. Though they might instead ask the person undergoing treatment to file a report on the progress of their genetic modifications; an optional one, of course, though failing to do so might affect their social credit score and those of their common associates. If we could just direct your attention to form 62-alpha-prime? Lovely. Your service to the greater good is hugely appreciated, Astartes. A drone will be along in a minute to mop up the remaining bits of... well, to be honest, we're not sure what that is, but it's everywhere and sometimes moving. Have we mentioned that this is experimental genetic engineering? You may withdraw your consent at any time, though doing so may seriously affect your social credit score and those of associates up to and including Connectivity Degree Four. Would you like to know more?
