This is exactly the information I was looking for!!! Thank you very much! It actually simplifies my work, because allows me to get rid of the convoluted family tree and remove the OC from the House of Thingol, reducing speshulness levels.
Regarding the eye-color, I don't care about the particular shade of green, as long is a shade of green; had it been impossible, I could have used gray or light blue, which aren't unheard of with this particular OC archetype. Also, I got to same shade of green with the character creation of LOTRO. Same with the hair color.
And the idea that the hair color is metaphysically linked to the atttributes of the character just gives me more options to torture and humilliate the OC exploiting its flaws.
Finally, about the last sentence; I'm trying to make and justify and red-haired/green-eyed OC. Why? Well that's a complicated question. My answer would be, that those characteristics are due to the derivation from one of the three OC archetypes that I use, this specific one usually used for protagonists. This starting archetype, is a female with strawberry-blonde hair and heterochromia (one eye blue the other green), this archetype is nothing but a clean slate that then I twist and change until it comforms to the canon and/or other specific needs for the character, and then I give a personality, derived from the keywords "creativity", "ingenuity" and/or "imagination". Trust me, this can get to many wildly different personalities, and different ways to exploit the flaws derived from them. I hope that answers your question.
