I would like to remind everyone that the play was written by JKR. It is official Harry Potter Canon, much to my dismay.

If somehow the plot leakage is just something to keep fans from finding out about the real plot... Then congrats to the writers. It is a possibility, you know. The leakage could be fake.
(broette? I'm not sure what the correct way to address you is)
As they say in the Daily Beast article, most of the major plot points have been leaked for a while now. This is just a summary of the play itself.
Rowling would have responded to such a leak as this, cos she is desperate to #KeepTheSecrets. So since she's NOT panicking over this leakage...
I made sure it was registered and had a bot and ops before I left. Admittedly the bot is mildly useless because I don't know how to make it work like the old one did, but I suppose I can fiddle with it.
I apparently can't fiddle with the bot. That'll fall on Tomash I guess, since technically he's the only op.
I actually don't remember what it did other than autogreet.
I got "access denied" on /msg botserv info #ppc
Does anyone know who's running the bot?
But for some reason the bot takes away the ops I should have as channel owner, so idk.
What typo, though?
This is definitely the correct ship name. Congratulations Mattman on potentially calling it before it happened.
I always supported that typo.
So the Daily Beast has leaked the entire story of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, and honestly it is hilariously bad. Like... they brought Snape back to life briefly, as well as bringing Umbridge back (why? both of those characters can rot in my opinion) Voldemort and Bellatrix had a daughter that was never mentioned before and Draco's son may have actually been fathered by Voldemort using a time turner (which is really gross because he's like 40 years older than Draco's wife). Rose, Ron and Hermione's daughter, is a complete jerk to Albus just because he gets sorted into Slytherin, which isn't exactly his fault. Albus openly advocates murdering Voldemort's daughter towards the end.
It's just... Really bad. You can read it for yourself here if you want.
There's a total of three or so people in the world who can make a decent story involving time travel, and I somehow doubt they were involved in this production.
I do find some joy in the irony of them destroying the canon that the fans were fans of in order to create fanservice for the fans who are now (very reasonably) upset because the canon has been ruined in their attempts to create fanservice.
It's a bit like improving the efficiency of your racehorse by breaking all of its legs and then strapping the creature to a large truck that's constantly driving in the opposite direction of the racetrack.
This has to be a joke. There is no way that this can be serious. It's either some form of joke or a very clever conspiracy, because there's no way that something that makes me want to drown myself in Bleepfee without even getting through the entire thing can come from the same person who wrote the Harry Potter books. They're obviously pulling some kind of joke to shock everybody into not speculating and ruining the plot of the play. That must be it.
"Every conversation in this alternate reality ends by people crossing their wrists and saying: For Voldemort and valor.
Every girl at Hogwarts is hoping Scorpius - known as the Scorpion King - will ask them to the Blood Ball. The other kids do his homework."
I'm pretty sure this was taken from the My Immortal version of the epilogue.
If she acknowledges this thing as canon, odds of the MACUSA's story hiding something more subtle plummets...
High hopes for Fantastic Beasts slowly spiraling down the drain...
Fantastic Beasts is also the movie set in 1920s Harlem that includes no black or hispanic people on the cast, unless they're uncredited extras, but we haven't seen anyone who wasn't white in the background of any of the promotional material.
Not that it's JKR's fault as I doubt she had much to do with the casting, but it is pretty rediculous, considering that Harlem was/is one of the areas where white people are a significant minority.
If her 1920 America is really the best she can do, and if she acknowledge this canon, her reputation will be shot out of the sky.
Yeah that is. Definitely something.
