Please accept this elegant and finely-crafted starter Pokémon:-
Iiiiiiit's Onix!
And your starting item is:-
Copper Ammolet from Enter The Gungeon!
The Ammolets are really interesting items, in that they boost the damage of multiple-target moves by 25% and grant them an additional effect, in this case a 30% chance to burn. However, Onix isn't necessarily the 'mon to use them on. While STAB Earthquake is nice for burn spreading, Onix's Attack is hot trash and its low Speed means it won't be able to spread many of them. Additionally, there's a limit to how useful burn spreading even is for a physically defensive 'mon like Onix. The best thing to do would probably wait for it to evolve, but if you're determined to use it, try a Jolly one with EVs in HP and Speed and the ability Sturdy. Then, you'll want to give it the moves Earthquake, Rock Slide, Stealth Rock, and Explosion in the last slot - not a lot of people realize that the Ammolets affect moves like Explosion and Selfdestruct. Most importantly though, have fun. =] -
Crud, now I have to release my Steelix, Fuzzy. by

But in all seriousness that item seems to be a double edged sword. If it were a Toxic Ammolet, whatever that would be, THAT, would be an Uber item.
-
Funnily enough, there isn't. =] by
on 2016-04-25 15:53:00 UTC
Reply
The closest is the Uranium Ammolet, which gives a chance to Poison rather than Badly Poison. There's also the Chaos Ammolet, which applies a 30% chance to Burn, Freeze, or Paralyze, and the Gold Ammolet, which doesn't apply a status effect but increases the damage boost to 50%. Now THAT is a powerful item, especially since you don't get the power drop from hitting multiple enemies in the Singles format. EarthSlide best slide. =]

Tonight has hit me in the feels, but I can still offer something: a lullaby I learned at the same time.
Once in a time, there lived a boy, together with mother and father.
The dad beamed with joy, the mom wept with woe, for she wanted a daughter.
The son loved them both with all his heart, for he didn't know any other.
Yet you should not fret, my darling child, you should neither mourn nor cry.
The dad was sweet cane, the mom gingerbread, the son a marzipan pie. -

Or, at least that last two lines! It's almost the same as an old lullaby we have here in Poland. In rough translation, with no rhymes it goes like this:
There was a king, there was a page, and there was a princess.
Among roses they lived, they knew no storms,
of that you can be certain.
She was loved by the king, she was loved by the page,
this little charming lady.
And she did, too. She loved them both,
they lived in love together.
Alas, a sad day, a cruel twist of fate,
happened to all three of them.
A dog ate the king, a cat ate the page,
princess got eaten by a mouse.
Yet you should not fret, my darling child,
you should neither mourn nor cry.
The king was sweet cane, the page gingerbread,
the princess a marzipan pie. -

I believe that it he version I saw was translated and rewritten to fit the context that I heard it in. I omitted a few lines, because things got really messed up, and it was heartbreaking to watch the slideshow that came with it.
But if you want to see it in the way I did....
