... there's a direct train line between Baker Street and Charing Cross (the best station for Trafalgar Square). So you could slot it in before the Exterior Walk; or it's not too far from the British Museum. And yes, the Imperial War Museum is apparently free entry (which I didn't know!).
I think we'd have the easiest time coming across Sunday morning, joining you for part of the Exterior/Complete Walk, then running off halfway down. We're happy to visit Baker Street as well, depending on times (and if you want to throw it in as an afterthought there, rather than devoting part of Saturday to it). Do you have a time arranged with the Shakespeare nerds?
Random dissociated notes:
-We'll almost certainly be around over lunchtime, so we can try to research up somewhere to eat.
-We may or may not be dragging small children along with us, depending on what my parents say.
