Hello to all! I go by theskylarksings on various places around the web, Sky for short if you're feeling lazy (I am). I'm an American female fangirl who enjoys the worlds of Middle-earth and Narnia, the universes of Star Wars and Star Trek, and various 'real-world' whatnots, including but not limited to BBC Sherlock and Marvel. I also do my own world building and original fiction on and off.
So I somehow or other stumbled upon the Wikia (some divine force must have sucked me in from Googleing a Mary Sue test for a friend) and subsequently read the Original Series (all hail Jay and Acadia!). I just wanna say: Your purpose and mission speak to me on a personal level. Seriously. Even the Flowers That Be thing doesn't faze me as much as it should.
I read the Constituion and a few other things, and my Agent is in development! I'll go through the paperwork of officially joining once I get my character shipshape and super.
So, yeah. Hiya! Ciao! Salam! Aloha! Yo! I'm running out of languages! -

For the Coolness! You're in good company - LOTR, Narnia, and Sherlock; I love them as well (among other things)! And I'm a Minnesotan, by the way. Which state are you from?

I'm from Kentucky myself. The most stereotyped state of all, barring Texas.

Actually less than six months ago. First I lived in Crescent Hill in the Highlands, and then moved out towards Prospect. What town do you live in, if you don't mind me asking?
I've lived in several places around KY, but right now I'm in the Southern part of it for the first time. -

Yeah, the PPC is indeed an awesome lot, isn't it? And we rather like it when people do the appropriate research before joining, so kudos for that.
Anyway, have a Bag of Holding, so that you can store the truckload of gifts you got and also have a Rorschach Book, which can change into virtually any written text in existence. Just close your eyes, think about what you wanna read and then blink three times. -

Anyway, welcome to the PPC! Here is your starter Pokémon:-
Iiiiiit's Slakoth!
And your starting item is:-
Spikestrip from Risk of Rain!
Well... Spikestrip's a brilliant item for certain types of mon! It activates when hit and lowers the attacking Pokémon's Speed stat by 2 stages, but the problem is that Slakoth's stats are pretty ropey and it doesn't have all that much bulk, even for Little Cup. However, the biggest downside is that Slakoth is lumbered with Truant, which is pretty much the worst ability in the game, and it doesn't get Entrainment so you can't be tricksy and shove it onto the attacking 'mon. If you must do it, go for EVs in HP and Physical Defence, with Bulk Up, Slack Off, Body Slam, and Shadow Claw. Or you could wait for it to evolve into a Slaking. That is also an option. =] -

Pocket-sized pencils and lovely languages! Not that you should really put a pencil in your pocket, due to the high likelihood of stabbing yourself, and getting a piece of lead stuck in you. Though you wouldn't be getting lead poisoning it would still be pretty painful, and –

Anyway, newbie! *glomps anyway* Heya and welcome aBoard! As your newbie gift, please take this plate of freshly-made SPaGhetti!
Since you've already answered the usual questions I ask, allow me to ask you one: Are you planning on only one agent? The general recommended number is two, since agents work in pairs (and occasionally teams). Unless you plan on writing with a friend, and in that case, awesome. :)
Anyway, hope you like it here! -

Just a heads-up: by

We do let people who don't have Permission write under people who do, but if your friend(s) want(s) to write mission as a full-on partner, they'll have to get Permission eventually as well.
If my original writing partner hadn't eventually handed the reins over to me for her agent, she would have needed to get Permission too. So, yeah, just a heads-up. :)
And yeah, this place is pretty great. I'm nearing my two-year PPCversary (wow, two years? Feels like I got here just yesterday) and have yet to get tired of this place.
...whether or not this place has gotten tired of me is a different question, though. :P Anyway, yeah, here's to hoping you stick around! -
