Spoiler: am alive and still lurking, surprise!!
Actually done a few days ago, but, y'know. Stuff.
Although that Political Thriller story might be quite short - I've never even heard of Enda Kenny, so protecting him might be a little difficult...
One thing I did think is that there were a few questions about our writing habits (Do you co-write? Do you reference other events? Etc.) that could have benefitted from a 'not yet, but I intend to' option. The 'No, I don't' answers sort of implied 'no, and I never will' to me, which certainly isn't the case with some of the answers I chose.
- Irish
I'm just a bit busy. :D I came back to fill in the census, though, so all good!
~Kitty
And I have done a thing.
I will try to do more things, and I'm sorry I so abruptly stopped doing them, but last week really stressed me out for various reasons, and now I have a cold that might be the same one I got two weeks ago and came back due to the stress. Not sure.
~Neshomeh, who doesn't want to go on the cart.
Gnrgh.
Though, if you could use that to stop the inside of my nose from itching and trying to drown me in mucus, that would be lovely. {; P

Lots of hot tea and warm showers.
-July, not a doctor
Glass o' warm milk + spoonful of honey + 2-3 crushed cloves of garlic. Down it in one go. Works bloody well against bacteria.
Does it actually work, or does it just scare the immune system into high gear so you don't have to drink it? ^_~
Nah, I believe it does work. Garlic is well-known for its antimicrobial properties. I'll stick to my chai with a cap of whiskey for now, though. Tastes rather nice.
~Neshomeh
What sort of tea? What sort of whiskey, for that matter? I might just try that out.
You match your liquor to the drink you're adding it to.
-a July, who learned the hard way that rum and sprite aren't bedmates
I believe I bought a smallish bottle of Jameson's Irish Whiskey (not the best, but readily available). It is nice and smooth, which is what I look for in a tea Whiskey. I also recommend Red Breast, if you can find it.
-Phobos, Whiskey Connoisseur-ish
But put it in a tall glass, with plenty of ice, and top it up with ginger ale, and you get a very nice and refreshing drink :)
If I'm going to put alcohol in tea I've found that I generally prefer to use rum. Captain Morgan or Lamb's Navy both work very well, in my opinion.
- Irish, also a Whiskey Connoisseur of sorts
Apparently what I have on-hand is Whisky, not Whiskey. Specifically, this. My lack of drinking habit shows, no?
Anyway, what sort of tea do you think it would go with? Earl Grey? Ceylon? Something else?
I would personally pair it with a gunpowder green. The Ceylon might work well though.
Also, any strong black tea should work. The important thing is that tea and Whisk(e)y should work together. I might try an Assam with that one, though I like the Ceylon idea, as well.
-Phobos
What should the ratio of tea to whisky be? Should I drink it hot or cold?
I'm completely new to this whole mixing business, y'see.
I tried putting about two teaspoons of that whisky in a cup of Ceylon tea. I like the results so far.
Jameson's isn't that bad for the price, not at all.
-July, who doesn't have a problem, really
Isn't he already bipedal?
That is bit of an exaggeration on your part. Yes, I admit to not writing humorous things, and instead going for something more than a little bit darker, but I've also managed to find a way to balance those things at this point and not be entirely like that. After everything went crumbling down, unfortunately.
You do not need to demonize me.
You did decide to return sounding like a comicbook villain.
You are still very irritating. You do not listen.
Knock it off.
Go away.
I actually want to be given a second chance. Sorry if I sound a bit dickish still, it's actually a lot harder than you think to let go of my feelings of what happened, but I'm actually going to try. It kind of festered for a while, but I've been getting better with managing my anger.
Besides, I'm always willing to write. I kind of want to use the drive I have to give something back to the group that more or less taught me how to write properly (even if it wasn't exactly the kind of thing that would normally come out).
1) Make proof of a good account of your behavior before you start talking about trying to get permission again.
2) Stop doing the thing. The thing in this case is 'refuse to accept that this is something you have to learn how to do on your own, while blaming others for your failure'. Doing this thing does not particularly impress anyone.
3) I am not entirely sure what you are trying to prove with this post? It is coming off very much as 'I am going to attempt to do the same things I did before'?
...It's really, really late, so I should get to bed before I say anything I regret.
Some very interesting data there... Who put Iximaz as their LO?
...count as Lust Objects?
I have several ideas for some bouncing around in my head but I've barely written anything down.
Because if you say "Yes", it asks some question that you can't answer if you haven't written down the story.
I see, I see. Thanks.
Was that somebody picked Valon as their favorite agent.
I picked Xericka as mine, by the way, her spinoff is one of the funniest I've read. You're welcome, PC!
The only problem I have with this census is that I can't see who said what. I can infer some things, but most of them are sadly anonymous.
I do not remember what I answered. If it was me, I am sorry for being a narcissist. However, if it was somebody who was not me... thank you.
Apparently it has. Done.
