PPC Census 2015! by

Yes, yes, another thread from July, but I'm making this one separate from the other for the main reason that it's a whole 'nother kettle of fish! In fact, it's not fish at all! Not a kettle, either!
It's boarders!
For those of you going 'but what is this', the Census is a thing I've cooked up yearly (with a couple year gap) since 2009 to get an idea of what our demographics are!
For instance, here's the summary of last year's census, and the spreadsheet with a more detailed view.
What's the point of this, exactly, you might be asking? Well, you've seen the above from 2014, now, right?
Here's the original census' summary from 2009. Back then, the board was overwhelmingly female! It wasn't until the PPC's inclusion on TvTropes that it slowly began to pick up more and more males!
As ever, the census is an evolving thing, and responses and suggestions for this year's will be taken into mind for next year's- 2016!
Fill the census out here. -

Although that Political Thriller story might be quite short - I've never even heard of Enda Kenny, so protecting him might be a little difficult...
One thing I did think is that there were a few questions about our writing habits (Do you co-write? Do you reference other events? Etc.) that could have benefitted from a 'not yet, but I intend to' option. The 'No, I don't' answers sort of implied 'no, and I never will' to me, which certainly isn't the case with some of the answers I chose.

And I have done a thing.
I will try to do more things, and I'm sorry I so abruptly stopped doing them, but last week really stressed me out for various reasons, and now I have a cold that might be the same one I got two weeks ago and came back due to the stress. Not sure.

Nah, I believe it does work. Garlic is well-known for its antimicrobial properties. I'll stick to my chai with a cap of whiskey for now, though. Tastes rather nice.

I believe I bought a smallish bottle of Jameson's Irish Whiskey (not the best, but readily available). It is nice and smooth, which is what I look for in a tea Whiskey. I also recommend Red Breast, if you can find it.

But put it in a tall glass, with plenty of ice, and top it up with ginger ale, and you get a very nice and refreshing drink :)
If I'm going to put alcohol in tea I've found that I generally prefer to use rum. Captain Morgan or Lamb's Navy both work very well, in my opinion.

Also, any strong black tea should work. The important thing is that tea and Whisk(e)y should work together. I might try an Assam with that one, though I like the Ceylon idea, as well.

First off, we are talking a hot drink in this case. You'll want to start with a cap full (if your whiskey is sans cap, you can use a teaspoon to start) in a regular mug of tea. Start light on the whiskey and add until you like the balance. The goal is not a strong drink. Rather, the tea and whiskey should coexist peacefully, with the whiskey adding a warming sensation and some flavor.
As for procedure, I like to put the whiskey in the cup first (and any other flavorings like honey or lemon {all three together are delicious in the right combination}) and pour the hot liquid over it.

Either way, there is a VERY SMALL CHANCE I might attempt to do things here again, but of course, that's only if I'm now good enough to suit your standards. You have no idea how much I've tried to fix what wasn't broken.

FZN is "MAXinsanity", who enjoys not listening to concrit, being absolutely 100% intent on using grimangst and only grimangst in his writing and refusing to follow the general genre tones of the PPC or acknowledging that it is a humor based shared universe, and has no interest in working on his attitude, or really, anything that could possibly get him permission, which lead to him being politely asked to leave some time ago to calm down.
Clearly, this hasn't happened.
Due to all of this being well past the expiration date- I would be truly surprised if anyone else really remembers who you are besides a vague 'Oh, that guy with the sad Breloom', MAX- said clue is completely free of charge, and included with a free fizzy drink.

That is bit of an exaggeration on your part. Yes, I admit to not writing humorous things, and instead going for something more than a little bit darker, but I've also managed to find a way to balance those things at this point and not be entirely like that. After everything went crumbling down, unfortunately.

I actually want to be given a second chance. Sorry if I sound a bit dickish still, it's actually a lot harder than you think to let go of my feelings of what happened, but I'm actually going to try. It kind of festered for a while, but I've been getting better with managing my anger.
Besides, I'm always willing to write. I kind of want to use the drive I have to give something back to the group that more or less taught me how to write properly (even if it wasn't exactly the kind of thing that would normally come out). -

I honestly thought for a slightly longer than brief moment that you had returned to wrack very annoying, slightly maniacal, and generally ill thought-out revenge. Because yes, that came out more than a bit on the delusional 'halp halp I'm being oppressed' side. But you are aware of that and trying to manage your anger is an important thing. This is the PPC, we are not the Sith. (At least I think we aren't.)
I can't say for everyone that you'll be super welcome back, but I at least personally am not the one to say whether you get a second chance or not.

Just be aware that even if I do end up trying again, I can't exactly get rid of some of the things that make my writing a bit difficult to deal with (being so focused on characters and how they interact), so a few serious moments are inevitable, but I'll try to avoid having too much of them.
For example : If one of my two agents gets the other into a really bad (read: life threatening) situation by accident, they will talk about it at the end, but the serious stuff won't be brought up constantly.
Of course, a bit of help might be needed to get there, but... -

1) Make proof of a good account of your behavior before you start talking about trying to get permission again.
2) Stop doing the thing. The thing in this case is 'refuse to accept that this is something you have to learn how to do on your own, while blaming others for your failure'. Doing this thing does not particularly impress anyone.
3) I am not entirely sure what you are trying to prove with this post? It is coming off very much as 'I am going to attempt to do the same things I did before'? -
