If you really start picking things apart with a fine-toothed comb, and analyzing every little bit and every component part of a given issue, then it tends to not be nearly as funny, due in large part to the profuse amount of verbiage that tends to accompany such in-depth, thorough, comprehensive, extensive, exhaustive, and, in some ways, intense microscopic analyses of any sort of idea, concept, opinion, notion, or other phenomenon which might be the topic of discussion in a group of people, which invariably includes one jackass (that would be me) who persists in their foolish mission to take up as much space as possible without using any sort of ending punctuation and makes it impossible for anyone else to get a word in edgewise, if this were happening in a face-to-face conversation which, of course, it is not, so it didn't really bear mentioning in this conversation which, as we know, is about examining something with such detail that it starts to get a lot less funny, which is the point that I am trying to illustrate.
-Phobos, taking things to an illogical extreme.
