I'm down for Board shenanigans, but I've also got a personal vested interest in you going back and answering for yourself. If you don't, we're all going to draw our own conclusions, and I can think of one - maybe two - people who would conclude in your favor.

Fill out the "Author" field with a different name and make an in-character post! Create endless strings of ORAs and MUDAs! It's complete anarchy here! Let the crazy shenanigans ensue!

The posting of threads is a difficult matter,
It isn't just one of your holiday games;
You may think at first I'm as mad as a hatter
When I tell you, a thread must have THREE DIFFERENT TRAITS.
First of all, every thread must be properly quirky,
And suiting the feel of the PPC Board.
Not for us hate-fuelled ranting, or murderous planning--
Close them down, shut them off, see the quirky restored.
Yet remember as well that the Board is quite smart,
And think of how 'quirky' is different from 'crazy'.
We can always do serious, when leavened with humour,
But just yelling 'InSaNe!!!'? I'm afraid that's plain lazy.
Next, let me tell you a thread needs engagement,
It needs to encourage more Boarders to post.
And not just to say they agree (or the opposite):
A thread that's just 'yes, no, perhaps' will be toast.
No - whether you're seeking to start a discussion,
A story, a game, or a dozen more choices,
You need to craft something your friends will reply to,
And then to each other, each sharing their voices.
But above and beyond this there's one more thing needed,
A trait that will grant to you all that you dream.
To get those replies, to open a topic,
To make the Board better -- a thread NEEDS A THEME.
When you notice a thread, whether silly or serious,
That pulls in the comments, that makes the smiles beam,
There's always one thing that has made it successful:
It's the theme, yes the theme, it's the well-chosen theme.

All-gonna-stick-withit
Intriguing and geeky singular THEME.
Are you saying something to me?
But yes, parts of it are partly to you.
You wouldn't walk into a room full of people and announce 'hey, it's time to be crazy!'. You wouldn't log onto the chat and say 'right, everyone say something insane!'. You wouldn't email your friends and say 'everyone, send me the wackiest thing you can!'.
Or rather, you might do any of those things - but only if you had a goal in mind, for instance if you're gathering information. You wouldn't just do it for the sake of it, because in those contexts, you realise that silliness can't be forced, and that people don't need you to ask if they want to be bonkers.
To my mind, the same applies here. If we've got something nutty to post, rest assured that we will do so without the need for a thread asking for it. :)

Because some networking people have had a similar idea to yours, and so The Naming of Hosts currently lives in the same pile of numbered documents as many Serious Internet Standards.
On a massive tangent, there was a April Fool's RFC at some point discussing how to run the internet via carrier pigeon, and some people implemented it.

Look, I made a big misinterpretation of my own beliefs. I took a certain principle and ran with it. I interpreted it too literally, as I am unfortunately inclined to do, and took it to heart.
And then, on top of that, I accidentally phrased it in a sexist way.
I have talked to some people who know more about this subject than I do and I apologize for my mistake. I recognize my error in both interpreting the belief and expressing it. I won't do it again.
What concerns me is not the original mistake. You already apologized for that, and we understand.
What specifically concerns me, and I think I speak for others as well, is whether or not you think women can be blamed for men acting on their (the men's) physical desires. That is how some of your words could be interpreted. Any words or actions based on that mindset would be out of line with the PPC's Constitution, which expects all members to take responsibility for their own behavior, and the mindset itself would be regarded by most if not all of us as unwelcome, because that kind of thinking is tied to misogynistic, victim-blaming rape culture.
I use those words not to accuse you, but to make sure you understand how serious this is. I don't get the impression that you actually believe that. However, your post was vague, and that's why I asked for clarification. I would like you to state your position clearly, so there can be no misunderstanding. Not only would it alleviate our concerns (I hope), but it would demonstrate your ability to respond gracefully to criticism and to choose your words with precision, which are both important skills. Please do not continue to ignore this request.

After weeks of dodging and not understanding the problem, I have finally reached the solution.

I do not think women can be blamed for that. I was merely trying to avoid myself being tempted into something negative.
(Seriously, have you seen some of the things teens send each other? I don't want to be party to that.)
I hope this clarifies the situation.

I would encourage you to think more deeply about the implications when you use a word like "tempted," though. Temptation does imply another person or agency doing the tempting in a not-nice way, with particularly negative connotations around women. (The story of Eve, "foul temptress" but never "foul tempter," "feminine wiles" but never "masculine wiles," you see?) That sort of awareness takes practice, so keep working on it. {= )

... that in at least some religious groups (I'm speaking from experience in the LDS Church), the only person spoken of as performing the tempting is Satan, occasionally as 'the tempter' (though not, to my memory, 'foul tempter'). The idea as presented to me is that everyone needs to watch themselves, because Satan is always out to tempt you into capital-s Sin.
I'm sure the 'particularly women' message is still there, and I know that women and girls are given it rather more heavily (boys get 'avoid temptation', girls get 'avoid being temptation'), but it's not necessarily - as you say - easy to have awareness of.
(Also Eve's choice is cast rather differently, but that's very Mormon-specific, and probably not germane to the conversation at hand.)

Hello, Internet, welcome to Play Hypothesis! Today we're going to be discussing a fan favorite, the UNDERTALE series! But this isn't any ordinary theory about the games, oh no. Instead of drawing the connections between W.D. Gaster and the strange world of DELTARUNE and digging into the game's code to forge some kind of connection, we're going to be talking about the creator of these games, Toby Fox!
Now, let me summarize this guy's history, because I feel there's something fishy here. The story of Toby Fox is that he started off with an EarthBound ROM hack called the "Halloween Hack." From there, he went on to compose music for popular webcomic Homestuck. At some point in his life, he had a dream. A dream about an ending to a game. He woke up and realized, "I have to make that game." So he started work on an RPG that... never got finished. Eventually, he created an RPG based on a different idea. This RPG was UNDERTALE. Now, UNDERTALE isn't the game with the ending that Toby had a vision of. That game will be DELTARUNE, once the full release comes out.
Toby Fox claims that his games are heavily inspired by the MOTHER series, which is a series of three games, MOTHER, MOTHER 2, and MOTHER 3, created by Shigesato Itoi. These games each folllow a child with psychic powers defeating bad guys with he power of psychedelic backgrounds in order to stop the forces of evil. Ever heard of it? No? Well, that's perfectly normal! The series is mostly unheard of outside of Japan, except for the U.S. localization of MOTHER 2 as EarthBound. Sound familiar? It should; Toby Fox got his start with the EarthBound Halloween Hack! And it's easy to see the inspiration that UNDERTALE and DELTARUNE have in MOTHER 3, from the quirky tone, to elements of the battle system, to the very font that the games share, even the way your level, or LOVE in UNDERTALE and DELTARUNE, is written on the save file images for each game is the same! ...wait a minute. There's something fishy going on here. These two games are much too similar to ever have come from two different creators. "But NatKat!" I hear you ask. "Maybe Itoi and Toby are just similar people!" And to that I say, "If there's a rabbit hole, go down it!" In this 17-part series, I'll be proving to you that Toby Fox and Shigesato Itoi are the same person!
