Easier than calling you "anonymous", or "I don't know what to call myself at this point, but I'm still the same person", imho.

I may have asked this before, but I forgot, so bear with me. As far as I understand, possession is when someone is highly out-of-character in a Sue-ish way, so the solution is an exorcism, character replacement is when a character is 100% OOC and might as well be somebody else and the solution is to act as though they are someone else and replace them with a more IC version of the character, and character rupture is when someone is highly OOC but it's clear they're not possessed because they're not acting like a Mary Sue.
Now, if it's a Mary Sue that's causing a character rupture, then that's easy: just kill the Sue! However, what if there is no Sue around to kill? How do you fix that?
There are a handful of specialized wraiths (and probably more that haven't been "discovered" yet) that cause behavior changes entirely different than the kind seen in Suefluence and character replacement. The high-order wraiths can still be exorcised in the typical way, however (though probably with greater difficulty on the agents' part).
—doctorlit, actually answering the question
(ETA: working link)
Sue-wraiths cause Suvian behavior, typical or otherwise; meanwhile, slash-wraiths cause slashy behavior, trolls cause trollish behavior, etc. Exorcism indeed works on the lot, though trolls might require a specialized version known as "sunning." (See Badfic Troll (Creature).)
However, generic OOCness is a thing, too, and may be curable simply by removing enough uncanon influences for the canon to snap back. This may be achieved by putting crossover elements back in the universe(s) where they belong, using a neuralyzer to make the character forget things they shouldn't know, or using a Memory Implant Device to make them remember things they should. (Ironically, nobody remembers the last one these days.)
Or, if it's a severe case and/or all else fails, that's what the Department of Fictional Psychology is for. {= )
For more information, I recommend taking a look at the Possession, Character Rupture, Character Replacement, and CAD pages on the wiki. (Though, looking at the Possession page, I think I'll edit it to make the language a little more general.)

Only, you seem to have chosen "Anonymous" as your actual username, which is not useful for identification and is seriously distracting me from answering your question even though I want to. Why? O.o
~Neshomeh
I don't want to give out personal information.
I think what everyone is trying to ask is "are you/were you a boarder, and what username would we know you by?" When we ask for your name, we're not really asking for your real information, just whatever moniker you go by.
....But I've forgotten my old username! facepalm
Easier than calling you "anonymous", or "I don't know what to call myself at this point, but I'm still the same person", imho.
Your username can (and usually should) be a made-up nickname of your choosing. It's not personal information. Plus, you gave an e-mail address that I assume is not sensitive since you're concerned about privacy, so why not pick a username that matches it?
That said, no one else can use "Anonymous" as their name now, so I guess it does technically count as a unique identifier here. Doesn't help us to know what sorts of questions you've asked before, though.
~Neshomeh
I didn't know. It said, "name", not "username", so I thought it meant your real name.
And I used to be part of this club but suddenly it doesn't remember me, so I re-joined.
I mean, unless you joined around...I think late October is the earliest time possible. So unless you joined then, and are coming back a couple months later, then you're thinking of the Old Board, which was hosted on yourwebapps, which is now gone. We all had to make new accounts here (or accounts at all, since the Old Board didn't require them).

I’m not trying to come of as rude, but if you were once part of the PPC, then what’s your old username?

Silly me, I forgot
I'm that one who wanted to add a page for that cartoon 'The Loud House'.
P.S. When are we gonna stop talking about me and start talking about the question I initially asked?
I did a search on the Board for "The Loud House". Apparently classicfilmfan was the last named user to make posts about this series, and the date of their posts would coincide with the dates you've given us for being around the PPC.
