Heh. Jasmine's plan really is a decent one . . . at least it would be, if not for the fact that it can't actually work! But she has no way of knowing HQ is gone, so she earns points for formulating it all the same.

Good to see the remnants of the British government are immediately cracking down on disorder with authoritarian militancy, and closing the borders to exclude foreign travel. 10/10 fellas, stay the course, I'm sure your marching drills will intimidate the Fey once they roll into town. This was fun to read. I’m not familiar with the canons, but I still enjoyed it.
In the passage:
”Sure, Dad ." Jasmine rolled her eyes. "No, you need to seduce a canon character."
" Jasmine !" Constance gaped at her.
(Bolded for emphasis.)
It looks like you added an extra space in both sentences.
