Hello. I have been lurking on the Wiki for a while now, so I thought I probably should introduce myself. I am the Purple Cabbage (there is no such thing as a red cabbage; they are blatantly purple), safely anonymous. I got here from TV Tropes, and read on one of the FAQs that you need to hang around the Board for a month before obtaining Permission, so I might as well start early. And . . . I don't really have anything else interesting to say.

Here, have a Dramatic Longcoat. It flutters DRAMATICALLY when you need it to, even when there's no wind.

I approve of the purple-ness of your username!
Have two oranges, the color or otherwise, a seedling for SOME plant, I'm not sure which, and an invisible ring. Enjoy! -

YUM. I love hot chocolate! It certainly looks delicious. Whipped cream . . .
May I ask what House Roac is? Oh wait, I know this: it's from a piece of original fiction that an Agent came from. If it's the one I'm thinking of, which I read yesterday, his name had "sw" in it twice, right? And I think he was in Floaters?
And thank you! I hope so too! -

I'm honored that you chose my mission to read; I hope you enjoyed it. Yes, House Roac is Surhat's family; they produce chocolate along with wizards.

Have a flying* sheep and a towel. It is important to always remember your towel, and to always know where it is.
*sheep only flies when a) enclosed in something else that is flying or b) wears a Super Sheep cape. -

The towel is indeed very important, and thank you. What does a Super Sheep cape look like, so that I may keep an eye out for one?

Have a pair of socks (do cabbages use socks?), useful for when you need a clean pair to wear or an improvised weapon.

Thank you! I may not be Albus Dumbledore, but socks are always useful.
Weapon improvisation is done by the addition of a half-brick, right? I think it was is Sourcery, but I haven't read that in a while. Also, I wonder if a sock could be used as a miniature teacosy? Perhaps to keep one mug warm rather than an entire pot? -

Hello! Have a seventeen foot long, multicolored, wool, knit scarf (curly wig not included), and a bag of jelly babies.
Please use themIRresponsibly!
This is cool. My husband goes by Warcabbage, and you are the first other cabbage that I've ever come across. -

That is so cool. I actually have an unfinished multicoloured wool scarf right here, although it's only about four feet long (I don't have a tape measure handy), though I could make it longer--probably not seventeen feet, though.
I haven't seen any other cabbages either. -

Thanks for the chocolate! I like Discworld (of course), Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings (haven't read the Silm, though), Star Wars, the Old Kingdom series (I've read some of Nix's other stuff, but it's mostly not as good), the Bartimaeus Trilogy, His Dark Materials, Narnia (I've read all the books and seen the first movie) and quite a few other literary fandoms (and I really need to finish 1984). I also play Mario (which I'm awful at), Legend of Zelda and Pokemon, and have just started to play Kingdom Hearts.
