...wouldn't dyslexia make it a little hard to understand chatspeak? All those numbers are throwing me for a loop, and I don't even have dyslexia.

... but I really doubt that dyslexia has any effect on your ability to properly punctuate and capitalize letters, nor affect your ability to type out certain words (specifically 'and') rather than substitute symbols or smaller mispelled words.
Dyslexia will not make it so that you misspell "because" as "cos." -
