... Two mini-Balrogs,
And a single glistening tear.
Good idea. ^_^

...one single glistening tear
Who wants to go next?
... Two mini-Balrogs,
And a single glistening tear.
Good idea. ^_^

On the fifth day of Christmas, a Suethor gave to me...
Five Time Lord love interests,
Four misquoted poems,
Three unicorns,
Two mini-Balrogs,
And a single glistening tear!
On the sixth day of Christmas, a Suethor gave to me...
Six Elves a'drooling,
Five Time Lord love interests,
Four misquoted poems,
Three unicorns,
Two mini-Balrogs,
And a single glistening tear!
Excellent! Now we shall sing it as we march against the Suethors!
May I add this to the PPC Holiday Songbook?

Excellent idea! I'm glad everyone had fun with it.
Although... can I make a slight alteration to my line? I seem to have the wrong syllable count compared to everyone else. Can you make it "Three blue unicorns"?
It's just that I was seeing so many divided beats that I thought maybe you're all thinking of a different version (or that my memory is off, given that I've heard the song all of once).
... That, and everyone else was more creative than me ;) So whatever works for you.
My family's not big on Christmas - actually, we're about as unChristmasy as you can get without not giving presents all together. I grew up annoyed by most Christmas carols - especially the overtly religious ones - and never bothered to sing them. Usually once I start singing something they're branded in my mind forever, but these melodies tend to escape me.
