This... well I'm just going to be insensitive here. Some of the audience would probably take high offense to the touching of pigs, and the change is to keep from alienating them.

The ridiculous expression to go with this movie should be 'Dain Ironfoot on a war pig!'. 'Dain Ironfoot on a battle goat!' does simply not have the same ring to it. *huffs and goes off to sulk in corner*

Dwarves riding goats is very World of Warcraft.
The goat-drawn chariot is fine, considering that Thor had one.
If that barefoot person is anyone than Bilbo, I'm going to question why they aren't wearing shoes.
