Umm... Aaaanyway... I am a fanatic of LOTR and Ranger's Apprentice, and have -pridefully?- dubbed myself a good writer.
I am also a lover of the PPC - just realized I have one of the original series open on another tab.... Huh. - and stalks the wikia more than I'd like to say...

I have not read Ranger's Apprentice, but from what I see of it on Wikipedia, it sounds like a good story.

...the protagonist is called Will Treaty. He plays a mandola. Everyone calls it a lute. Hence my comment just below.

I love Cinder (Lunar Chronicles) but I don't think they are very well known... Yet.
Practically every series I love I have read every book that has come out so-far. I think it is necessary to say I am a very fast reader, can finish one Ranger's Apprentice book in an hour or two.
