After months of watching, waiting, and plotting I have finally found the perfect time to unleash my legions of DOOM! Well, not really. I'm just joining the PPC after spending time debating with myself.

A quick question. If minis are spawned by poor grammer, generic beasts are poorly described bit characters, and bit characters are only there to serve as a Sue's audience, what would a character who exists only as a single line of dialouge be? I personaly imagine it as a thing who's core personality is described in its one sentence, and it will try to acquire a description by eating other beings' descriptions.

Welcome to the PPC! Have a gallon of frozen yogurt and Jayfeather's Genuine Stick(tm) as housewarming gifts. Both are superb tools for communing with dead felines.

Beings that prey on description... I like it. I imagine them as somewhat volcra-ish. I think you're onto something here. :)

And to answer your question, I could imagine anything from a disembodied voice (if the dialog is not attributed to anyone) to an incongruous loudspeaker (or fantasy-world equivalent) to just a very beige, undescribed bit.

Oh yes, and do you mean "Alien Planet" the mid-2000s mockumentary? I've been looking everywhere for that.

It's something in the air. We smell it, and we begin a great migration to the boards, looking to join in it's wonders. David Attenborough is in the process of narrating a documentary on it as we speak.

As a fellow former lurker, I welcome you [Very jaunty object] to the boards. (Although, as a newbie, I may not be the best person for that.) It's a good place not to lurk, the people here being very amiable and also somewhat cracked and all.

Here is a top hat kitten, as a welcome present. It combines the best features of hats, kittens and good taste. Just don't look at it too hard or try to figure out how the two features are supposed to fit together. The seizures that would cause are bad.

In the life cycle of any posting board is a great influx of newcomers. Stock your bunkers though, because the good time don't last. Our forecast predicts a period of withering disuse in a few months, the a sharp decline in members. Mad Sues fall from the sky, and the last agents make a final stand in a sea of glittering fire!

However, increased cheese consumption for two weeks should cause a chain reaction, and lead to a golden age of the PPC. Remember, the future is in your fridge.
