*takes deep breath* LotR, tea, Harry Potter, Yu-Gi-Oh! *looks around* I hope that works.
Iximaz the awesome was my beta, and she has my eternal gratitude.
Here are my agent bios: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1oWvlaYn4QN1OXHhogdsQeQx4hNB2PxBrWITab8YXyk/pub
My prompts.
Control: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1bHqn6zI5lhcv0LhcPnIrAAAA9oJLdpDYAaa6OmCKjGI/pub
Random: <a href="https://docs.google.com/document/d/1mIdooxlZJzxPc2PJMB6lCJkLDSdkhGR-z0rW43mApc/pub">https://docs.google.com/document/d/1mIdooxlZJzxPc2PJMB6lCJkLDSdkhGR-z0rW43_mApc/pub
And here is my badfic: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1ydyayRCAi4HGVIzM-t0npD5Yu3rsQm4YeAiEaVWaGEI/pub
Unfortunately, it really is my badfic. I never even finished it, and I don't know if that makes it better or worse.. Fun fact! I started publishing it on the Pit, then read different articles on the PPC Wiki, realized my OC was a Sue, and took the story down.
On a different note, I realize that the RP makes this a busy time, but would it be possible (if I should obtain Permission) for me to be knighted in Plort? I absolutely adore the RP, and celebrating Permission, Plort-style, would be an insane amount of fun! I thought it would be better to make my request on a separate thread, though, in case the PGs/Barons aren't okay with the idea.

Though assuming one of your agents is your PPC persona, I'm starting to get flashbacks to my own very first mission now, dangit. At least you didn't have to deal with a dozen different continua coming at you at once! XD
Ah, well. Good luck on your first mission! -

Your prompts were pretty fun to read. I was actually a bit disappointed when the first ended before the mission began. I definitely look forward to reading more of your agents in the future. Congrats!

It's from a sci-fi continuum... I was about to say "I'm working on", but "I've got a vague idea of" is more appropriate. It's remote-controlled, but don't try to shut down the thrusters, or it will explode. Have fun!

Pokemon and Harry Potter were at the centre of moral panics in America during the '90s concerning whether or not they "promoted Satanism" (for real), presumably because the religious right at the time had nothing better to do than needlessly harass children's media characters. You have been vocal about your faith. I thought it fitting. =]

Nope, didn't get it at all. I do remember the stigma around those- I still haven't played Pokemon. I know it's fine, though, and once I actually remember to do so I'm going to pick myself up a copy. Any suggestions on which game to start with?
*takes deep breath* CHRIIIISTIAAAAAANITYYYYY!!
I am indeed very vocal about my faith. *grins*
It's interesting, though, with Harry Potter, because Harry is definitely a Christ figure, not to mention the books are almost totally clean in all respects. I think the general rumor was that JK actually visited "modern" witches and incorporated those spells into her books- clearly that's not so, but I believe that's what people thought. Anyway, I've read them, and enjoyed them immensely. -

Pokémon's sort of my area of expertise.
I'd recommend starting with the latest games - hopefully they'll announce a 3rd version of X/Y at E3. Pokémon's been evolving slowly towards its ultimate form, and if you start with the old games, you might get turned off by the horribly outdated interfaces.
And I think the issue with Pokémon was its use of "evolution", which stirred up all the hyper-conservative people, who completely failed to notice that the in-game version of it was more akin to metamorphosis.
Anyway, congratulations! I'm looking forward to reading your missions. -

In games which feature honest-to-goodness magic, pagan gods who you can catch and use in battle, and other-dimensional insectoid demons you can also capture (and put on the same team as the aforementioned gods)... they got upset over a dodgy translation?
Moral panics just aren't fun any more. :(

Dharmic religions are often conflated with paganism by people who couldn't so much as spell dharmic religion if their lives depended on it, but I don't care if they think genies are worshipped because lookit! Lookit Hoopa! Lookit the lil cutie!
Lookit the oh dear who unbound the Hoopa?

There seems to be an insane amount of games. Thanks for the advice- if you hadn't said anything, I probably would have started on the first game, or the earliest I could get for what systems I have.
Quite possibly. I haven't made any sort of study of it, but it would be interesting to know.
Thanks! I'm looking forward to writing them! :D -

Hoom, hoom.
Activity: Yep, you're active enough, and - surprisingly - you've been here for over a month! I didn't quite realise that. All good, here.
PPC knowledge: Your prompts don't contain any mistakes that I can spot and I know that you can a) ask questions or b) look for the answers yourself, so you're good here.
Fic to spork: Yeah, that's a Sue, aright, and something in the writing made my head swim (ha, ha). One question, though: what's it's fandom? Closest I think about is Disney's Little Mermaid, but if that's the case, well... that's not the Little Mermaid I remember watching when I was ten.
Writing ability (creative): The prompts are funny - especially the random one, I like what you did with the sneak-thieving mini-Aragog there - and the characters are good. I do have one concern - while your writing is by no means purple, it's a bit too florid, in my opinion, so it would do you good to pay attention to this particular aspect of it; since you seem to be on it already, you're good to go.
Writing ability (technical): You're good. There are a couple of mistakes (.. instead of an ellipsis in the control prompt, a misspelled sandwich in the other prompt's title) but they're nothing glaring and the sort of thing a beta would catch, anyway.
Therefore:Permission granted
I, Baron Thanasius Ampelius of the Monastery of Spectacle in the Refuge of Ozerbord, in accordance with the Edict of Bast and the laws of the land, do grant you the title of Knight, and with it the obligation to fight the Marizu wherever they may be found.
Rejoice! -

((Ahaha, I'm so excited! Thank you so much! As soon as this head cold leaves and I can function like a normal human being, I shall begin the spork!
Yep, she is. I didn't realize how much of one she was until I reread it. It's actually a fic for a show called Once Upon a Time. It's quite good- basically a huge, live action Disney mashup set in Maine. I did it a massive injustice with my poor writing. :/
Yeah, I've noticed that in myself. I love rich descriptions, but I don't quite have the true knack of being rich while not giving people indigestion. Also, thank you so much!))
Let the celebrations BEGIN!!
