There seems to be an insane amount of games. Thanks for the advice- if you hadn't said anything, I probably would have started on the first game, or the earliest I could get for what systems I have.

Though assuming one of your agents is your PPC persona, I'm starting to get flashbacks to my own very first mission now, dangit. At least you didn't have to deal with a dozen different continua coming at you at once! XD

Your prompts were pretty fun to read. I was actually a bit disappointed when the first ended before the mission began. I definitely look forward to reading more of your agents in the future. Congrats!

Have an origami turtle. With four elephants bearing a great (carefully cut out map of the) Disc, astride it.
I actually just started reading Discworld; this is awesome! I love origami. I mean, I'm hopeless at it, but I like looking at it.
It's from a sci-fi continuum... I was about to say "I'm working on", but "I've got a vague idea of" is more appropriate. It's remote-controlled, but don't try to shut down the thrusters, or it will explode. Have fun!

Pokemon and Harry Potter were at the centre of moral panics in America during the '90s concerning whether or not they "promoted Satanism" (for real), presumably because the religious right at the time had nothing better to do than needlessly harass children's media characters. You have been vocal about your faith. I thought it fitting. =]
But, your explanation makes much more sense.
Pokémon's sort of my area of expertise.
I'd recommend starting with the latest games - hopefully they'll announce a 3rd version of X/Y at E3. Pokémon's been evolving slowly towards its ultimate form, and if you start with the old games, you might get turned off by the horribly outdated interfaces.
And I think the issue with Pokémon was its use of "evolution", which stirred up all the hyper-conservative people, who completely failed to notice that the in-game version of it was more akin to metamorphosis.
Anyway, congratulations! I'm looking forward to reading your missions.
In games which feature honest-to-goodness magic, pagan gods who you can catch and use in battle, and other-dimensional insectoid demons you can also capture (and put on the same team as the aforementioned gods)... they got upset over a dodgy translation?
Moral panics just aren't fun any more. :(
