For example I wouldn't say we could spork Skyrim mods (and by mods here I'm talking about quest mods) even though I have come across some with horrible SPaG.

For Romhacks I don't think we can really spork them either. They are too different from the other types of fanmedia to really be able to do that sort of thing with.

Both on the host and other people, you should only pick one person per guess to try and invite to the party. I believe that was in the original rules.

That was entirely accidental. I was still thinking it had to do with people in certain kinds of magic existing worlds, but he does eventually have a named sword.

You can start giving welcome gifts of any sort the very day you show up on the Board, if you feel like it. I mean, don't give things that are in poor taste, but if we've ever had that happen it was before I joined (which I did about four years ago), so don't worry about that too much. People give all sorts of things, too--I've given bleep candies, Skarmory gives spikes (which I keep picturing as metal feathers? Not sure if that's how he means it), Sue objects are popular (and frequently invented on the spot rather than actually picked up from a badfic as an agent might do), and I remember getting a tribble when I joined, so you've also got canon objects. There's quite a range. Go wild, find your thing--have fun.

So many people. I am very obsessive. Apologies for making you track them all down, and if you can't tell for any of the people in question (because Webtoons don't always have wikis), feel free to just say "too bad so sad I can't verify these people". Which means that one or two of the characters I really want to see won't even be checked, but I promise not to get upset about it. At least not publicly.

I'd like to direct folks's attention to the discussion page for "ROM hacks," and get opinions on whether ROM hacks count as fanfiction.

If anybody's been looking for me, I just got back from a music camp in the Rocky Mountains. It was quite fun, and I loved meeting new people and learning new things about my instrument (the bassoon) and how to play it.

As such, I haven't really been keeping on tabs with news in general, since 1) I don't have service and 2) it's LGBT pride month meaning giant brouhaha on the internet that means I seriously want to avoid literally everything until it's over.

So... anything interesting happen while I was gone?

The idea was pretty good and gave new life to the series.

The actual story, though... let's just say it proves that Rowling is human like the rest of us. Speaking of, I still need an answer to my suggestion for an addition in the Other People FAQ, which used Dephliny Edgi'ness Megalomania Augurey Riddle (hah, win) as an example. Can someone go approve/deny it and give me a why?
