I see you already reached out to the community at the Discord. Good job with the social initiative!
So, I took a look at your DeviantArt, and I like what I've seen so far. It might not be much, but it's shows promise. Nothing that can't get better with practice.(And you had legitimate art classes I'm so jelly)
How often do you draw or practice? Do you have a routine or practice pointers? I hope you don't mind, I'm just curious.
Have a complimentary jar of kimchi, a portion of my infinite paper and an ultra fine point sharpie!
I hope you enjoy your stay!

For, oh, probably going on a decade now there's been a tendency for many PPC writers to seek out fics that are as squicky as they can find for their missions. I wish there wasn't - I can't stand to read said missions - but whole heaps of people think they're the bees knees, so I accept that that's what the PPC wants.
And yeah, there's massive irony in the person who killed Clbr__n saying this. But I remember how hard that missikn was, and how little I quoted in it. I want to go back and rework it, actually, if I can get into the headspace, and if I do I'll try and improve the humour. And double yeah, the irony's worse if it turns out that I partly /caused/ the trend.
So yeah. I tried to counter the trend - or provide an alternative if you prefer - with Driftwood, but ran out of energy for writing them. So it goes.

Instead of just squealing at Larfen in private chat. But really, this is super funny, and made my day, and all that stuff. I don't have anything critical to say (although I may have simply used up my supply of concrit explaining to a vole I found in the Pit thereof why it's probably a Bad Idea to write a story about a seven-year old Harry Potter being "rescued" by an unnaturally beautiful woman who is the personification of Death and trained by demons to fight Voldemort)(I'm an idealist, okay? Suethors can be saved!).
Anyway, good work and I hope to see more from you both!

First, though a description of the badfic is certainly not out of line, posting excessive detail about something designed only to cross as many bits of respect/humanity as possible is really quite unnecessary. The broad strokes would be just fine for something like this.
Second, the whole thing about the PPC is that it runs on Rule of Funny. (Okay, not exactly, but still.) Fics like this are out there, yes, and they're bad, yes, but I think the main reason this is unmissionable is that it's so egregiously bad, in so many ways, it would be difficult to make it . . . funny. Even C*l*br**n was tough to do while maintaining any humor, because, well, rape isn't funny. The Holocaust isn't funny. "Hermaphrodites" aren't funny – just ask my students. (Seriously, they NEVER laugh at my jokes.) Despite what Stone and Parker tell you, AIDS isn't funny either.
So this fic, I think, would be out of reach for a mission, just because I have a very hard time seeing how anyone could make it more than 20% more entertaining than the fic itself.
Obviously this is just my opinion, so if you disagree, I'd actually be really interested in seeing someone explain why or how they would manage it. Because dang, if you could actually make something this tediously hateful funny? That's quite impressive.

Cat didn't recognize her first date's species, but Lu's appearance heartened her. Humanoid, seemed to share a few basic cultural norms -- she could easily be from Cat's own continuum. Flirting would be (to borrow the latest unnecessarily colorful human idiom she'd picked up) a piece of cake.
The Vulcan woman leaned forward, propping her chin up with her fist. She wiggled her slanted eyebrows up and down, and one could almost claim she was smiling. "So, what is it you're looking for at this event?"
((Let me know if you want more description of Cat's appearance. Also, thank the great bird of the galaxy that I didn't open your links at school -- I do not need a teacher glancing over my shoulder and seeing a detailed description of a succubus' breasts :P
--Key can actually be really squeamish about that sort of thing and probably wouldn't have clicked that link if she'd been warned))

I used Showdown for a little while, but I haven't touched it since. I'd tell you my Moon team, but are you okay with spoilers on postgame pokemon?
We all know though, that the true hero of Part 4 was the ambulance. The whole plot with Enigma kinda ticked me off though. Like, Koichi got kidnapped, so Yukako sohuld've been there kicking that white-haired string bean's butt
But nope

I've used Pokémon Showdown, a free online simulator where you pick and choose Pokémon to use and customize their movesets, EVs, and IVs. Iirc, I have a Greninja, a Klefki, a Skarmory, and a Gardevoir on my copy of X; there are others, but I don't remember what they are.
I liked Part 4, too. The inter-character dynamics were great, and of course, there's BEST VILLAIN.

Tbh Vento Aureo is one of my favorite parts. Part 6 is pretty good. The stands get really weird though, so sometimes it gets a little hard to follow.
I'll tell you this; Guess is top tier waifu and deserved a bigger role
You'll see what I mean
What's your fav part so far anyway? I think mine's Part 4

Lu looked over her card. "Cat?" by

"Looks like I've got a match." The hybrid cast her eye around the room, looking for some indication of where she was supposed to go.
There.
Lu strode towards the table that had seemed right to her - occupied by a female, what a coincidence - and came to a stop behind the open chair. "Would you be Cat?"
(A proper description of her usual state can be found here (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1HPnHDXYqKt9q_aJfY1pvpa86VlV6zg0J3jKFgONzoso/edit?usp=sharing), but it's more understandable if you read the description of how she originally looked, which can be found here (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1aPrhhHYnkmF1pjYXsDPE6JWC2Hzrz5vYsM5QbZMVTIU/edit?usp=sharing). Note that both are written from her own perspective.)

"Uh, standard for me is... Um, Mia gets mad at me, we barely manage to coordinate enough to take the Sue or whatever down, and she never lets me anywhere near the charge list. And then, next mission, we do it all over again." He frowned thoughtfully at his travel mug. "It's kind of like a bad sitcom." He glanced over at Harris. "Is he your partner, then?"

Have a bag of spicy Poffins. If you can handle them, they'll make you *cool.* Probably.
As you've probably guessed by now, I'm also into the Pokémon games! I still haven't gotten around to finishing Sun, and I'm really kicking myself for it. Sigh. I was raised on Gen IV, and sometime around Gen VI, I tried getting into competitive battling. It didn't work out. Oh, well. I can always EV train my little buddies and then never use them. :'^)
It's great to have another JoJo fan around! I'm still recovering from a condition I call Vento Aureo Fatigue; the arc was just so boring to me that I never mustered the strength to read Stone Ocean. I'm not asking for any spoilers here, but is Part 6 any good? (yes, I know about MiH)

'You're not a knight of some sort, are you?' he asked. 'You know, I wanted to be a knight, when I was terribly young. Or a baker, one of the two. I can never quite remember.' He considered, briefly, asking if she was a baker, but something in the back of his head answered 'No, probably not.'
((Should we, perhaps, start closing it up to enter them into round 2? Give others a shot and such? Unless you got anything else to add or whatnot.))

Finch had joined Building Maintenance those many years ago largely out of necessity. by

It had turned out, to his disappointment, that there were no official openings for 'professional coward.' His side choices, 'official yellow-belly,' 'executive milksop,' and 'full-time namby-pamby' had all gone that same route. Building Maintenance was all that was left, as he saw it. He never, however, gave up on his ambitions, and worked paranoia and cowardice as a full-on hobby. His skill had grown beyond compare. He was, as such, very highly talented in the art of deducing whether or not somebody was walking towards him. His sonic-sensors spiked. Something unique in the levels, something odd in the volume. He swished his ocular to the side. Whir, click. It widened, then narrowed. No doubt about it. Moving, towards him. Right towards him - a direct path that led right to him. To Finch.
'Hello,' he said. He extended an actuator and pointed, backing off slightly. 'This is a date-thing, right? You don-t have a giant, serrated knife knocking around on you you want to stab into me, or anything like that, right? And don-t get bloody cheeky, I-m against giant serrated guns, too. Even moreso, honestly.'

Assuming you're fine with that and such. I mean, I assume you are, but, y'know. Better safe than sorry and such.

It was based on one Vocaloid song I really liked, Kagome Kagome, and it was supposed to be a horror piece. It just turned out like laughable garbage though. A cliche storm, with a dumb ending.
I deleted it, didn't make any copies, and haven't seen it since, so I think it's safe to say that it's been wiped from the world lol.
