Welcome, fans of the Protectors of the Plot Continuum and supporters of the Canon Protection Initiative! If you've got a story to plug, an opinion to share, or a discussion you want to join in, this is the place!
If you're looking for PPC stories to read, why not start with The Original Series – the missions of the famous assassins Jay and Acacia, the very first stories in PPC history. Once you've finished them, check out the list of Killed Badfic to find a mission you like the look of, or The Complete List of PPC Fiction to look up specific agents or departments.
Before you join the fun, there are some important links you should know about. Being familiar with these will save you a lot of hassle!
This list is also available as a Atom/RSS feed

The float was slowly veering towards a wall.
Honestly, maps might help? Unlike most fanfic, where most readers would already be familiar with the geographical layout of the canon, you are very literally creating new territory here! So yeah, maps would probably help readers visualize the action. Assuming it's not too much extra effort/trouble, of course.
—doctorlit, the guy who got lost on chapter one
Hooray! It makes sense that the antidote to Kaguya's rage reactions would be things he finds pleasant. And I'm glad Momoka has him back again!
—doctorlit, in stark contrast to the agents here, is eating hard-boiled eggs off a napkin
Lindsey slowly made her way to the edge of the float, kneeling down. "Um, Mina," she called with a note of terror in her voice. "I can't see anyone at the controls."
As she turned to look at the agent, tears began to well in her eyes.
Other than the fact Ura and Ina exist? Yeah, I don't think there are any spoilers here.
It'll be a while before they're order-able but I've got a print proof on its way to me now. :)
It was pretty short. Don’t think I quite get it, but . . . oh well.

Now what I am I going to throw to the...”
She paused and looked around.
“...crowd that used to be here?”
((Maybe Sasha’s driving? She should be done arguing with Carlisle by now.

"Then who is driving? I don't think this is fun any more."
I’m not the one driving.”
I liked the “looking back at the PPC” idea, and think it really works.
It looks like you maybe could’ve used a beta, I spotted a few minor SPaG errors.
Good, but short.

It's likely trying to eliminate hand-justification.
... being an AU are there spoilers for the rest of the series? I've only got a few more to read
I actually do have a map of the whole scope of the story, but don't want to share the whole thing because Spoilers. Let's see if I can crop it down...
There you go. They started just east of the F, and have walked north (through the park) and east (along the road). They're just turning north towards E, which will feature in the next chapter...
... which is coming soon!
Question, to anyone reading: if this is going up on AO3 (which is the plan), would it be worthwhile adding a map of the 'known world' so far after each chapter, or is that just pointless image spam?

In which Urato is an onmyōji and yōkai hunter. Since this is a serious yōkai story, beware violence and general scary stuff. The history might not be accurate, as this AU focuses on folklore and fantastical elements. Spoilery spoiler
To be perfectly honest I usually tend to differentiate the badfic text and in green, and wanted to use something different for the mission quote. Honestly I didn't put that much thought into what colour it was, although I think I went for orange first and thought it may be a bit hard to read.
I also just woke up, so pardon me lol.
I do really like the colors differing the badfic/mission from the rest of the text. I do wonder why badfic text (if I'm reading it correctly) is green, while mission text is red. Again, I'm half-asleep, so I'm sorry if the answer is in the actual text.
It's good. I like it!
-kA, whose mind wandered back to their VR training idea with recruits and a purposefully-fed badfic for some reason.
. . . and therefore getting louder meant they were following behind in the same direction of movement.
—doctorlit is better with directions when he can see the space visually
I must admit I was trying to work out the best way to throw in the nostalgia, given that plenty of PPC stories have since been written prior to 2002, then realised it was my own agents tenth anniversary (from graduation at least) and it would still be the 20th anniversary of the PPC being 'outed'.
