Summary taken from Tv.Trope's So Bad it's Horrible Fanfic section:
Synopsis: Organization XIII are (human?) Nazis, some more willingly than others. They do things that, in Real Life, would have put them in a concentration camp. Instead, they're running concentration camps between classes...
So Yeah. Anyway, in this fic, Azel is Heinrich Himmler's son (and is gay), Roxas is an SS member (and secretly gay and jewish) and Sora, Riku, and Kairi are fellow Nazis. Anyone see anything wrong with that? I hope it's not too early for me to bring up this fic, it's just that i've started reading it and I well...don't like it very much(Understatement). First Tawaki's request for Naga Eyes' sporking, and now this... I apologize for bringing this fic into your presence. *Vomits into a wooden bucket*

You can check out the accounts of the 2008 Mary-Sue Invasion RP: http://ppc.wikia.com/wiki/2008MarySue_Invasion Scroll down to the bottom.
Also, definitely read Huinesoron's stuff: http://www.freewebs.com/ppchistory/index.htm
I really need to learn how to do links properly...
There's something of a moratorium on major attacks right now, so that we can focus on what the PPC's really about: the missions, and having fun.

I only wish I had been able to refer to this back when I started editing Wikis, instead of having to look at the coding on other pages to learn how to do things. I still didn't know how to use images, or that the title of a page was supposed to be bolded in its first line of text. I will absolutely be using this tutorial in the future, possibly for other Wikis as well. Thank you so much for making this!
While we're on the subject of the Wiki, I noticed a couple of months ago that we have two Legend of Zelda pages:
http://ppc.wikia.com/wiki/LegendofZelda
and
http://ppc.wikia.com/wiki/TheLegendof_Zelda
I wasn't really sure how to fix this, and nobody ever responded to my comment on the discussion page. But maybe someone more in-the-know than I can take care of this now?

I agree that politeness isn't everything. It is entirely possible to tell someone politely that the world would be a better place if they were on fire--but that doesn't make it nice or helpful.
It can help a lot to avoid "you" language and stick to "I" language. Instead of saying "Your main character is a classic Sue and your writing needs work," you can say "I can't relate to your main character because of traits A, B, and C, and it would be much easier for me to follow the story if it were spell-checked and had better paragraphing. By the way, here's a website explaining how paragraphs work."
This approach runs the risk of making it easy for them to brush your comments off as a personal problem, but the kind of person who does that probably wouldn't respond positively to concrit in any form. Anyway, that way you avoid seeming to accuse people of anything, and it can help keep them from immediately getting defensive. Not always, of course, but sometimes.

My only complaint is the thing against certain Capitalizations Which Had Been Standard, but that's more of my personal preference going against general grammar stuff than anything else.
I'd also say something against "correcting" when it has to do with American vs British English spelling and why we shouldn't do that in favor of either side, because I personally find it damned annoying when people do that in order for one version to be the 'preferred' one. Because then it ends with people on the talk page going "oh look I corrected how the article's name was spelled in the main page so now you have to change it to conform even though it was spelled right in the first place just not how I like it".

I have taken the liberty of writing a tutorial for editing the wiki, including words on etiquette and style, and I'd very much appreciate it if everyone who edits or plans on editing would read through it thoroughly and let me know what you think. There are a few things I want to know:
1. Is this useful to you, personally? Did you learn something you didn't know before?
2. Do you think this will be useful to others?
3. Is there anything that needs to be included, expanded, or clarified?
And, of course, if there are any mechanical errors I've missed.
Thanks!
