*twitches madly* Never attempt Twilight/Mortal Instruments x-overs alone. *twitches* I'm only out on a day pass. Guess the risk of random and very violent homocidal episodes is still too high after months of intensive therapy and selective lobotomies to release me. *shrugs* Whatever. They let me come here because...I don't know, actually. They were smiling in a really weird way when they said I could visit. They say if I don't kill or hurt anyone too badly today they might let me come visit again next week. I hope they do. The other inmates at Arkham scare me. They're all so...sane and normal.

For random trivia (and because I was suggested to do so), today is my birthday. It is one day after the wonderful Enya was born. Thanks person who shall remain nameless for suggesting this, or I shall kill you if this is making me look like a fool instead!

I filled it out, even though I'm hardly ever around anymore. I just happened to take a glance at the board, and saw it posted, so I figured, why not. :D

The infamous badfic Doom: Repercussions of Evil (that I strongly suspect to be a stealth parody) was remade into a goodfic.

Odd question (a bit off-topic) by

So there's someone on LJ who's taken something of a novel approach: namely, taking a Suefic and rewriting it so that it's no longer a Suefic. The author knew about the project ahead of time, and is being given credit where it's due. (Which doesn't mean that she's happy about it...but she kind of brought it on herself.)
What's the policy on something like that? (And no...although I'm aware of the situation, I'm not directly involved.)

Yeah, that's what I'd heard. That part wasn't at the site I found.
Looks like the Überpit may have the complete work, but I don't particularly want to look.

Thy second choice of fic is not only EPIC, but also popular.
Which, I know from experience, says absolutely nothing about quality. Far from it. (popular badfic -- particularly lots of it -- at times makes me wonder whether it's perhaps I who is wrong about the canon.)
Good luck on getting permission, and on all your missions yet to come.

The Space Marine gets ressurected by Necrons (who use magic despite the fact that they're not supposed to be using it), the Ork feels remorse for what he has done, and they get back together. But the Space Marine insists on being on top, If you know what i mean

It's been over a month, but I finally got around to working on this.
My agents are here: http://essi54.livejournal.com/814.html
The very short sample of my writing is here: http://essi54.livejournal.com/2009/05/18/
And the badfic I'd like to tackle is this one:

Also, while I'm at it, I'd like to reserve this badfic for a future mission:

"Running across plenty of gawdawfulry in one's teens, thanks to being an avid and somewhat indiscriminate reader, tends to do that."
You have my sympathy. I do that often too.
"Case in point: Draco's Christmas Cuppa made me laugh and go "Eeeewwww!" and "Whiskey-Tango-Foxtrot?" but didn't give me an aversion to coffee."
It was mainly the whole concept that made me feel sick. I'm still content to drink coffee, but... *shudders* I'll be conducting experiments to discern if it was just a bad day for me (and to see if I can actually finish it this time).

I'm fully aware that my brain has developed ablative hull armor and forcefields. (Running across plenty of gawdawfulry in one's teens, thanks to being an avid and somewhat indiscriminate reader, tends to do that.)

And yeah, the Lich King. And a purple-eyed death knight.

Uh-huh. Well, that was a colossal waste of time. Resident Evil X beats it word for word for crap-factor. I think SB is safe for brain, however. Or maybe my brain has developed albative hull armour and forcefields to protect it after I subjected the poor thing to REX and Draco's Christmas Cuppa.
And that WoW fic is also weird. I'd read that, but I have very little knowledge of the Warcraft fandom. But yeah, the Lich King?

As LJ despises the length of the missions I write, it's in two parts:

Perhaps, but the derailing happened because of a Sue. A death knight Sue with purple eyes, no less. Who personally redeemed the Lich King and had his babies.
As for Squad Broken...well, it's no longer at the Pit. I've only been able to find what I hear is an incomplete version elsewhere. Ah, well. Here it is at 1d4chan. (NSFW and NSFB!)

Squad Broken is a truly excremental Warhammer 40k snuff-rapefic. Let's just say that there are a lot of charges involved, and the author didn't even know the source material worth a damn. It's by the author of the Lost One/murloc atrocity.
Semiiramiis is basically the Link's Queen of the Warcraft fandom, and is responsible for several massive and urple-prose-ridden Suefics. Suffice to say that one of her Sues basically derailed the newest WoW expansion pack out of existence.
