Welcome a-Board newbie! Let me throw some links your way.

The first is our Consitution, which outlines all the rules of out little online society in order to ensure that it remains as (in)sane as we like it.

The second is our wiki which contains a somewhat-infinite amount of knowledge. If you ever have a question, the answer is probably here.

Thirdly, The Original Series is how this whole community started, so it's definitely a recommended read.

And lastly, the IRC is a place for casual conversation and goofing off, if you like that sort of thing.

For your newbie gift, I present this time travelling orange. If you keep it for approximately two days (depending on your timezone) it will be in another year. Have fun!

To answer your question: it's a-okay to have a character to use for non-Permission events like RPs.

If you really want to start writing for the PPC, may I suggest reporting fics in the DoI standard format? Just omit the part about the Spy's Intel run: you'll need Permission for that.

Fic: Yu-Gi-Oh: Reverse over ZERO (original version) (http://kit-the-wolfy.deviantart.com/gallery/41378683)

Description: A VERY AU Yu-Gi-Oh story where Yugi Mutou and Seto Kaiba are dead. (Description is very basic)

Plot Holes: Many, many, many. Unresolved plots, beige prose, and a hefty dose of surrealism.

Problem Passages: WAY TOO MANY TO LIST

OC: (way, way too many, but protagonists listed) Leonidas McCloud, Leon Anderson, Lily Nora, Mia DuPar, Cyrus Lebarge, Clara Giuseppe, Kuma Tohru, James Noir, Haru Fulbright, Raymond Sleet

Type: Several are Mary-Sues, and some are bit characters.

Offenses Against Canon: It's an AU fic, uh... hm. Other than that... Mixing up magic systems improperly, injecting very inappropriate fetishes into the story (don't even ASK), spelling/grammar errors, Deus Ex Machina, idiotic writing, pissing off its own creator (yours truly), beige prose, Mary-Sue-ism, inept crossovers, stupid lines, switching between different moods inappropriately, random Author's Notes, etc.

Additional Comments: EXTREMELY BIZARRE/SURREAL. Handle with caution.

I have two unofficial rookie agents who are locked up in FicPsych due to an extra-viscious pillow fight. They're not my real agents because I opted to forego mission writing.

I'm fairly certain it's okay in RP and co-write situations.

Firstly, I am not a pile of living pasta. I am a human. I just like pasta. No, I don't know the FSM, but I think I know somebody similar.

I personally think that Fluttershy is the best of the Mane 6, but Sweetie Belle is my favorite.

Uh... I was looking up the color Bled, because I'd read the Hetalia OFU story. It led me to the Suvian Colour Spectrum. And from there, I was hooked.

My favorite episode from season three would have to be Magic Duel, and I am not even a Trixie fan! It killed my fic idea, but done so much better then I ever could. It was a Once Upon a Time and MLP crossover with Trixie as Regina. Now the Trixie Twilight feud is over with, and in such an awesome way, where I don't even care about my lost opportunity.

On a second note, should we have a brony rollcall? Just so we know who has been infected with the pony bug. Obviously me, you, Kitty, and the newbie Basil are, but I dont know who else is infected.

My favorite so far was Wonderbolt Academy. I like Rainbow Dahs getting compared to a similar pony whose desire to push herself went too far.

Also, I feel as though the Trixie-Twilight feud resolved kind of lazily. I mean, Trixie literally didn't show any signs of having learned her lesson until the random fireworks display at the end. I was a bit disappointed.
