Hi. I'm... relatively new here. By that, I mean: I've been lurking here for ages, but never really posted anything, so no one knows me.
I have some baked/fried sunflower seeds, if someone is interested. *Offers the paper bag*
I think they are fried, but I always get confused when it comes to cooking terms in English. -

I'm new here too, but still I present you my gift:
A brand new shotgun.
May you kill many Sues with it :D
Oh you mean ''tostadas'' right?
To be honest, I'll never known the proper English term for that either :/
Thanks for the seeds though ;)
PD:Oh, by the way, where are you from? I'm from Venezuela :D
I'm curious, maybe you're from there too?(Or Latino America, same thing :B)
It's just that, since English is not your native tongue... -

Thanks for the shotgun! I can only offer this glowing ball in return. If might not do much, but it still looks awesome.
As for tostadas, I don't even know what that is. Checked the wikipedia, but nothing there is what I was offering. I literally meant fried "sunflower seeds", the kind that would make SO pissed.
As for where I'm from - Serbia. It's "same thing" for most other ex-Yugoslavian countries, though some people wouldn't agree with me. -

Cool! I'm putting it in my desk :D
Oh I meant ''semillas de girasol tostadas''
Semillas de girasol=Sunflower seeds
Tostadas=I've never know the English term for it.
From Serbia huh? ..
Wow that's pretty far away from here :B
I didn't even knew that country existed until sixth grade xD
I'm sorry for the Spanish and all,is a bad habbit of mine assuming that most of the people that don't have English as their native language are from South America or Spain ..''
Silly me D: -

Hi, have some fudge!
And cooking terms can get confusing. Normally "fried" is with some sort of fat in a pan on the stovetop, and "baked" is in the oven with no fat, but all those restaurants and family recipes for "oven-fried chicken" disagree. -

Maybe it's oven-fry because they DO use fat in the oven?
Just guessing...

What the apple did you just appleing say about me, you little apple? I'll have you know I graduated top of my class in the Navy apple, and I've been involved in numerous secret raids on Al-apple, and I have over 300 confirmed apples. I am trained in gorilla apple and I'm the top apple in the entire US armed apples. You are nothing to me but just another apple. I will wipe you the apple out with precision the likes of which has never been seen before on this apple, mark my appleing apples. You think you can get away with saying that apple to me over the apple? Think again, apple. As we speak I am contacting my secret network of apple across the USA and your apple is being appled right now so you better prepare for the storm, apple. The storm that wipes out the pathetic little thing you call your apple. You're appleing dead, apple. I can be anywhere, anytime, and I can apple you in over seven hundred apples, and that's just with my apple hands. Not only am I extensively trained in apple combat, but I have access to the entire apple of the United States Apple Corps and I will use it to its full apple to wipe your miserable apple off the face of the apple, you little apple. If only you could have known what unholy retribution your little "clever" apple was about to bring down upon you, maybe you would have held your ...ing apple. But you couldn't, you didn't, and now you're paying the price, you goddamn apple. I will apple all over you and you will drown in it. You're appleing dead, apple.

Good to see you, second newbie of the day. You have just helped to demonstrate what I like to call the "Newbie Pack Phenomenon". For some reason, newbies tend to come in twos and threes, even if they've never met or heard of the other newbie before. It's a rather curious trend, but it's been around for a while.
But, that doesn't mean I'm going to give you any less of a welcome! Although, you might want to hide those sunflower seeds; the Sunflower Official probably wouldn't take to kindly to them.
For your newbie gift, I present to you this bottle of Bleepnog, in order for you to help us celebrate the holiday season and our filk-fest down below. It's probably made of eggnog and Bleeprin, but I'm not quite sure, seeing as I just invented it. Have fun! -

Actually, I think the reason for it is probably that once somebody braves up to introducing themselves, other lurkers notice and it gives them more confidence to do the same, because they're not the only one.

Well, it's as possible as Aragorn being Sue's father, then suddenly appearing and claiming his love for her. Her fathers reappears later on, but it's not stated whether he's Aragorn or someone else...
So... Yeah.
Don't try to make sense in Sue-fics. Especially if the said fic is written by a troll. -

Welcome to the PPC! You can leave your sanity at the door, as you won't be needing it here. You should also read the Constitution (link on top of the Board). The Original Series and the Wiki are recommended reads too, and you're more than welcome to drop by in the IRC channel (link on top of the Board, too) and say hi.
Last but not least, a gift, that is a cup of tea. Just don't let the leaves eat you. -

I'll pack the sanity in the box, before leaving it, though. Simply because I like packing things into boxes.
Constitution and The Original Series have already been read and wiki is being consulted whenever I feel like it.
And thanks for the tea leaves! I think they'll get along well with my cacti! Good thing there's a window sill between the plants and my room.
